Stayed: Early May 2026 Trip type: Family We had some concerns before arriving after reading some mediocre reviews, but we decided to take a chance due to our budget. It turned out to be the best decision ever! The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. 🏠 Room and Amenities We stayed in a separate building right by the pool. It was a fantastic setup – we had our own private garden and sun loungers, so we never had to worry about finding a spot by the water. The Room: Renovated and clean. Bathroom: Refreshed, featuring a bathtub. Contrary to some older reviews we’ve read, it was spotless (no mold at all). Maintenance: The room was cleaned daily. We also noticed the staff vacuuming the pools every morning. 🌊 Pools and Aquapark Since it was the beginning of the season, the water was a bit chilly, but it didn't stop us from swimming—and the kids didn't mind at all! Aquapark: A huge positive surprise! There are slides with different difficulty levels, so there’s plenty to do. Safety: The lifeguard was very attentive and kept a close eye on everything, which gave us great peace of mind. 🥗 Food and Drinks For a budget hotel, the food was a major highlight for us. Cuisine: Lots of Greek dishes, which we loved. There was a wide variety of food, and everything was replenished regularly. Quality: The staff made sure the food was fresh; if a dish sat in the warmer for too long, it was promptly replaced with a fresh one. Bars: The drinks were good. There was also a snack bar conveniently located near our room. 🤝 Service and Staff The staff here is wonderful – always smiling, positive, and helpful. They all speak English well, and there was even a Polish-speaking staff member at the bar. 📝 Summary If you are looking for a budget-friendly hotel that offers delicious food, diverse pools, great slides, and a lovely atmosphere, Filerimos Village is a fantastic choice. We spent a lot of time exploring Rhodes, but we always looked forward to coming back to the hotel. Highly recommended!
