Family trip 8 members in total rented 3 apartments I had a male staff member make unauthorized entry into my apartment at 1.30am with myself female and my baby 1year old in the apartment I was shouted at for approx 5 minutes and had my door slammed over a rubbish bag left out for housekeeping which woke my baby. When issue was raised with front office manager who was extremely unprofessional and rude I was told she already knew and that any and all staff members can enter apartments without consent of the renter which is illegal. Issue is being dealt with by police and booking agent. Not a family friendly hotel by any means bar staff are not trained at all and the food was well below standard. Very disappointed as the area is amazing and the people are very friendly. Housekeeping staff go above and beyond but it didn't shine through with how rude and unprofessional the reception and bar staff are. Avoid at all costs.

Just back from another stay at Flor da Rocha. Family of five in a two bedroom apartment. Apartments are spotless air-conditioning in the livingroom/kitchen. Tv's in both bedrooms as well as in kitchen area. Proper pull out sofa beds. Pool area as always was spotless no problem with getting a sunlounger. Games room an added bonus. Snacks (pizza burgers hotdogs) served at the poolside bar. Also this week have introduced milkshakes and smoothies. Close to the strip and beach. Another enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel currently still here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy around the pool area, rooms spotless and spacious with 3 tvs in the 2 bedroom apartment, fast wifi. Zero problems getting sun loungers at the pool. Hotel is in a great spot just a few minutes walk to the beach and main strip. Beer prices seem to vary all over the strip, 5e for large 2e for small here in hotel, across rd in Arcos 3e for a pint and 1.50 when it's happy hour so loads of choices, food in hotel is snack food but very nice, food on strip so far has been pretty good and well priced. Small shop under Arcos basic but reasonable prices about 2 mins walk with a bigger shop a further min or 2 up towards strip. A real gem of a place.

the hotel is lovely and kept to a high hygiene standard. the apartments are spacious. there are plenty of sunbeds in the pool area. The only thing that stopped me giving five stars was the food in the hotel, good if you like burgers and hot dogs.
