My TUI reservation number was 76902659. The Flora Garden Ephesus Hotel, which I booked through TUI, is not a 5-star hotel, as stated on TUI website, and bears no resemblance to the photos published there. It's incomparable to the 5-star hotels in Side I've previously visited through TUI. I've shared my complaint with the hotel management and your local TUI representative. Rest assured, we've seen many similar complaints. TUI local staff filled out a form requesting a hotel change, but he said he couldn't do anything else. The request was rejected because there were no rooms available at the hotels in question. The alleged 5 star hotel, which was completely unrelated to what was promised. The food was terrible, the service was terrible, the hygiene was poor, the pool was small and overcrowded, and the rooms smell musty. It's been a nightmare for my wife, who has health problems. I don't know what to consider, we've been completely deceived. No one should come to this hotel with his/her family. This was absolutely not worth the price we paid. Therefore, we demanded a refund of half of the price we paid. To my every e-mail another agent responded, and kept asking the same questions. Finally I wrote the following e-mail: "We started communicating with Andrea, then continued with Dennis, Baiba, and now Mujo. This alone demonstrates your complete lack of commitment to this matter. We're tired of repeating what we've said from the beginning. If you had read our past email traffic, you wouldn't have repeated them. Furthermore, your refusal to accept our previous request to change our hotel and your suggestion to change it two nights before our holiday ends is incompatible with the seriousness of a company like TUI. To reiterate, you insist on not understanding the problem. The hotel you guarantee is 5-star is in no way of that caliber, and we came here trusting you. Isn't it time you stopped beating around the bush and took responsibility? Unless you refund the price we paid, you will be recorded as a company that has violated our agreement, and this issue will be brought up on all platforms, including the web, along with our previous correspondence and photos, upon our return." But unfortunately, even I have spent most of my time to write TUI, the respond I got as follows: "Dear Mr. XXX, I have researched Your case in detail and have come to the conclusion that we can offer You a compensation. In Your case, this would be a bank transfer worth 130 euros or a TUI travel voucher worth 200 euros. Please let us know if this is acceptable for You. If not, we are truly sorry, but we cannot offer You further assistance to this matter. We are always here to answer any further questions You may have." And respond to this e-mail, I wrote "Dear Official, I'd like to point out that your compensation proposal is very funny, but unfortunately, we're out of humor and can not laugh at the moment. We'll let you know the outcome after speaking with our lawyer when we are back in Germany. In the meantime, we recommend that you discuss the issue with your higher-level managers and tell them about your proposed funny compensation options as well."
