This has been one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! The peace and calm here are next level. Huge shoutout to Zayan Zahir for handling everything so smoothly — if you get him as your host, consider yourself lucky. We’ve celebrated both or honeymoon and birthday and gave received multiple surprises. This place is a must-visit, and I’m already looking forward to coming back :))

A huge disappointment - our assessment of the Furaveri Hotel

Greeting: after a long travel instead of welcome cocktails at the reception straight up the requirement to pay for transfer and the fee, which in all other hotels in the Maldives we paid on departure. The wait for this payment was long. Then a long wait for our suitcases to be taken to the room. Food: Breakfast was disappointing. Only decent things were omelets, vegetables, and fruits. Cheap cheese and butter, no real oatmeal, just soggy granola in cups. Bread was of poor quality. Lunch and dinner were slightly better because you at least had some better choices. Overall the food was disappointing. Alcoholic beverages Decent choice and quality, but we had the Premium All-Inclusive package. There were some oddities though - a glass of champagne for breakfast - is chargeable, not until an hour later at the bar (included there). Bloody Mary cocktail (tomato juice with vodka) - chargeable, but separately vodka and tomato juice - included. Room In general good, spacious, but already noticeably "tired". But we paid extra for an improved room. The cleaning was good. Beach: On the beach, 50 meters from us worked bulldozer and cost fencing work. Bathing in the ocean with a bulldozer was not very pleasant. Service: Bad. The staff has a sad and tired look, serves grudgingly, tipping did not change the quality of service. Later we found a friendly waiter, and chose a table in the area where he served. SPA: We booked two special offer massages via Booking before our stay, but the hotel repeatedly couldn’t find our reservations. At checkout they charged full price for the second session and only adjusted it after a long discussion with proof from our side. Poor organization overall. Farewell: As poorly organized as everything else. We were informed that our flight was at 14.00, asked to come to the reception at 13.30. In the end we left at 16.00 - 2.5 hours of unnecessary waiting at the reception! This is the first time something like this has happened to us in all of our trips to Maldives. It's hard to explain how this hotel has such good ratings. It’s disappointing to have spent our vacation and money on this hotel, knowing from experience that there are much better options.

Best honeymoon

What an amazing place to stay for our honeymoon! Greeted on arrival and made to fell like royalty. We had a lovely beach villa with a pool and the villa was spotless and regularly cleaned and Sachin left lovely sand art outside on our step. We loved the food and tried all the restaurants on the island. We spent a lot of time at the water sports centre trying snorkelling and kayaking and spent some time in the spa too. The entertainment in the evening was great and the staff were so lovely and friendly (Sachin, Rahul, Rajesh, Nandini, Tomas, Sadeed and Ikoo). Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back in the future.

Good holiday , super entertainment , bad kids club

We was many time in Maldives and always felt boring, here we love the Furaveri and we love the entertainment team ( Nastya , Junior , Zizo ) always things to do with them for us adults and for our kids . Fire show was incredible, we are surprised about Nastya doing the show so professionally, in 2 weeks here we never feel bored . the main restaurant are good , door are changing every time something new , villa are clean . Here is really everything is good , only one thing - unprofessional staff in kids club . My children were kicked out of the kids club , they had a fight with a boy and then made up.Janice and Shaki are mean to the children, they scold them and don't let them touch the toys.My daughter was scared by Janice, the teacher told her that when Shaki the teacher comes, be careful because she's very angry. My children were crying all day today, why are we guests of the hotel and can't use the kids club? The children had a lesson on making bracelets, but my daughter wasn't allowed to do it, they said no, you can't.I was with my children all day today and I saw another child bullying my children, and the staff just stood there and watched. Please take action , they don’t look for kids by proper way .
