Enjoyed our getaway here on a lovely street near Ao Nang! Room 8/10 - Lovely surprise complimentary anniversary bed-making was included upon request and I cannot be happier with the room! It was comfy with a big balcony - Smart TV was a HIT! So glad they added that modern touch, it goes a long way after a long day sightseeing! - Daily housekeeping to keep the place mostly tidy, not a proper clean (found previous tenant's dress in the safe... oops!) - I will say room service before 12am/11pm was amazing - 100 baht for a cheeky french fries which was sooo crispy we were so happy! Came with sauces and salt, pay upon receiving Breakfast 6/10 - Continental breakfast variety was limited, but reasonable for what you pay for an all-you-can-eat. Your typical bread, fruits, sausages and cereal with your daily update in one Thai/Asian dish - Recommended when you're not up to only eat 7/11 every morning when restaurants nearby are still closed and you're barely awake. Unlimited hot coffee and tea helped! - Paid RM10 per person per day - So overall Price 9/10, Variety and Taste 5/10 Hotel and location 8/10 - Facilities come with pool, gym and places to chill by the pool with wifi. Reasonable but also I didn't really use them as a germaphobe other than the seating areas - The hotel welcomed people from all around the world - Location was a minute from a 7/11 which was divine - Plenty of restaurants within 5 mins distance - halal, non-halal ranging from Indian, Western and local cuisine with some going more pricey starting at around 150 baht - Plenty of massage parlours starting at 250 baht (some willing to negotiate for 45 mins!) - There's a pizza parlour and pub down the road with some party music vibes! Worth a go if you're nearby and needing a party fix but still want to stay on a quiant street Overall, would I return to GLOW if I come back to Ao Nang? With the price and service? Highly likely. But with a bunch of other places which are beachfront and beach viewing on the main Ao Nang street? I would definitely be inclined to try new places. However, returning to GLOW, I'm sure, is tempting!
