Wonderful breakfasts by the pool and that is a great start to the day is it not? Fresh bread, fruit, eggs cooked fresh, orange crushing machine provides juice and Lavazza coffee. Oh my. Service superb including staff in pirate costumes on festival day. Pool side bar and some freebies during the day if you can survive the heat. Clean rooms, cleaned daily! Pool area cleaned daily and lifeguard attending each day. Free sweets and wine in room shout loads about the culture of this hotel. Focused on you!

I was greeted with a glass of cava and news that I'd been upgraded, which was nice. My room on thrc7th floor had views of the sea,the room was big, it's own kitchenette, complete with an espresso machine with free pods supplied and topped up each morning. The shower would comfortably fit 4 people. Breakfast. Very good selection of everything, Lavazza coffee, free white or rosé cava. Nice that your bacon is cooked to order and to your liking,not the chefs. Sunbeds all large and soft cushions, towels are in your room,so no queues for then in the mornings. If I take this hotel around Europe, I would.

Amazing hotel. Very clean. Really comfy large double bed. Large TV. Well appoinred kitchen. Great airconditioning. Large shower. Sunbeds luxurious. Sundeck excellent. Breakfast is lovely, a variety of items. The hotel is so relaxing. We are returning.

Fantastic week at the Gold. Lovely chilled atmosphere round the pool during the day. We never struggled to find one of the super comfy sun beds even when we went down in the afternoon. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel and everything was kept spotlessly clean. Great location, close to the Yumbo and the sea front and with a well stocked supermarket next door. Will definitely stay here again if we return to PDI.

We had the most amazing week at this hotel. It is spotlessly clean, beds are comfy, food is delicious! The staff are all super friendly, especially the manager. The sun loungers are comfy and the rooftop space is fabulous! A real gem of a hotel in Gran Canaria. Good location with plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. The reception staff always greeted us with a smile. One of the male cleaners was also super friendly. Welcome drink and bottle of wine in the room on arrival is a lovely touch! We would have maybe preferred a higher floor but we will remember to request that next time! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
