Golden Rock Beach Hotel

*Golden Rock Beach Hotel, Marmaris* I recently stayed at the Golden Rock Beach Hotel in Marmaris, flying from Belfast to Dalaman. The outbound flight and transfer process were smooth and well-organized, setting a positive tone for the trip. *Hotel Check-In & Room* Upon arrival, the check-in staff were exceptionally warm, courteous, and welcoming. The room was very good, but would definitely book the sea view, which would have significantly enhanced the experience. *Dining Experience* The food was a standout feature, both the quality and quantity were excellent, with great availability throughout the day. Unfortunately, we were misinformed about the dinner timings and missed our first evening meal, which was disappointing. Although the staff were apologetic. Thankfully, the remaining dinners were a highlight of the holiday, more than making up for the initial hiccup. *Staff & Entertainment* The staff across the board were absolutely OUTSTANDING, genuinely warm, friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. They consistently went out of their way to make guests feel welcome and valued. The entertainment team deserves special recognition: they were truly exceptional, delivering the best entertainment I’ve experienced at an all-inclusive resort. We met loads of other guests (all extremely friendly) from various parts of the world, and had an absolutely fantastic experience throughout the entire holiday. Guests were so friendly that each morning (during breakfast) non-english speaking guests would approach us and communicate with us using google translate. There is a diverse range of nationalities staying within the hotel, and everyone was absolutely fantastic, representing the best in each of us. *Spa & Facilities* My friend made full use of the spa and opted for the maximum massage package, which was well worth it. *Beach & Pool Areas* There were plenty of sun loungers and shades available both at the beach and pool, but those at the pool were tightly packed. However, an unpleasant sewage-like odour was noticeable at the beach in the evenings, which should be investigated. Towels were generally available, but on one occasion they ran out by 11:30 AM and were not replenished. *Departure & Transfers* The check-out process and return airport transfer were seamless and well-managed. We were not getting collected until 7pm, but were able to check-out at 12;00, then securely store our luggage, retain our pool towels and all-inclusive wrist bands and then use the shower facilities within the spa, prior to our collection. This rounded off the entire hotel experience on a very positive note. *Airplane Boarding Procedure* One major concern was the boarding procedure at the airport in Dalaman. I observed a very poor case of crowd management that unnecessarily escalated tensions. Passengers were initially called to a gate, only to be redirected mid-queue to a different gate, causing confusion and a near stampede. The situation was worsened by the presence of rowdy, intoxicated passengers, and I witnessed several individuals becoming visibly distressed, including a teenage girl who suffered a panic attack. To make matters worse, passengers were then redirected back to the original gate and after beginning another (third) security check, which included full body and hand-baggage screening for every individual passenger, there was another announcement to board the plane by seat number. However, by which point, this was impossible due to the chaotic queuing and passengers in specific seats not being in the correct sequence. This entire process was poorly managed and should be urgently reviewed by the airline or tour operator to ensure a safer and more respectful experience for all passengers. What exactly is the purpose of a third full-security check??? All things considered, this was a great holiday, and I would be very happy to return to the Golden Rock Hotel. With a few improvements, particularly around communication and coordination, this could easily become a top-tier all-inclusive experience.

Lovely hotel plenty of sunbeds a round the pool Beach right through the gate plenty of sunbeds on the beach. Staff really friendly do anything for you. Debbie the best bar staff are great. Rooms were lovely well cleaned fresh towels every day. One of the best hotels I have stayed in.

The hotel is amazing and rooms are clean and tidy all aspects ts of the hotel are fantastic entertainment staff especially Debbie are amazing pool bar staff John location of hotel and beach are fantastic
