Gran Canaria Princess adults-only

Nice clean room. Was on the 6th floor corner room. Paid extra for this glad I did. Pool area looking very tired,sun loungers very uncomfortable. Felt like I was on top of everyone. Evening entertainment if you can call it that was not worth watching. Have seen better street acts. Talentless.

Fantasticly clean hotel reception staff great.room was wonderful only minus air con not great.pool is spotlessly clean beds easy to get most times of the day.being adult only was great as mrs sunbaths topless.free wellness area was superb sauna is fantastic.drinks plentyfull self service poolside including coffee tea hot chocolate.meals pretty much what you would expect from all inclusive you can find something every day.we liked it so much we have booked again for 12 nights in september .thank you all loved our stay see you in september

Stayed for a week on my own. Rooms very modern and comfortable, I had an east facing room on 2nd floor. Food choice was excellent with Breakfast plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt along with different breads , rolls pastries. Good selection of different cooked choices with the addition of cheeses and meats. Lunch having a good choice. Evening meal being different each night (Seafood, Mexican, Spanish , Sushi ) plenty of salads , pizza , pasta) . Drinks good choice either plenty of seating options in the bar area both inside and out. All staff were very friendly and helpful, only down side was the pool area I felt was a little small for the size of the hotel making a little cramped at times. The area was clean with plenty of sun beds.

Our 2nd visit to this hotel, as good as the first time. We stayed for one week in June 2025 as a couple (34 year old) Even though its adults only, it's geared to relaxing rather than partying. The new introduction since last year is if anyone deserves sunbeds before 10am and leaves them unattended the towels will be removed, I seen this being enforced which was good. There are plenty to go around and also umbrellas so no need for people to go down early. Pool is a good size, never crowded, it was a bit windy when we were there so the pool wasn't used a lot by us some days. I enjoyed the animation team with the aqua workout and aqua dance, no pressure to join in they only go with whoever is in that part of the pool. Quiet music is played during the day round the pool. The food is very mixed, my partner is very fussy and didn't mind having the same sort of things each day and I was happy to try new things. There is always meat being cooked fresh, a mixture of fish (it does have bones in) and various meats like pork, lamb, turkey and chicken. Desserts are not to my taste as a lot of mousse but the ice creams are lovely. (Tip - there is a microwave near the restaurant entrance if you want to heat up any cakes or rice pudding) There is always somewhere to get something to eat, the snack bar does Toasties, pizza, salad and pastries on all inclusive, you can pay extra for additional items. Rooms are a brilliant size, I think larger than most you would expect for a standard room. Cleaning is good, I don't ask for it to be cleaned everyday, but if you want your towels changed you need to put them in the shower. Tip. - the entertainment finishes around 11am, music sometimes until midnight so if you want a quiet room, ask for it to be on the hotel entrance side. As it was my partners birthday while we were there, they send some sparkling wine and a nice note to the room which I thought was a nice touch. I booked the Balinese beds as a birthday treat, they are €20 or €25 euros depending on which you want, they do get booked up so I would advise booking in advance. On a personal note, me and my partner don't drink, but still found value in the all inclusive, but the only downside was the cocktails could not be made without alcohol for example the Pina colada, is made with coconut rum so without the rum it's just pineapple juice. It would be good to have some other options for mocktails. Also, they don't serve coca cola/Fanta. It is Pepsi/Schweppes which to me isn't as nice but that's just my personal preference. The gym is okay, a little basic but if you regularly work out you will be able to do a lot of exercises. There are a few machines and some free weights. In the wellness area there are also 4 Jacuzzi to use, a steam room and a sauna all free of charge for all inclusive. You can pay for additional treatments such as massage, facial etc. There is a bus stop outside the hotel both ways, the buses are easy to work out and really good value. We got the bus one day round to Puerto Rico and was €6 euro return, buses ran regular and have air conditioning. It's around 10 minutes walk to the beach, but that's to the top of the beach, there are a lot of steps down to the sand, but there is a lift further along. It took us around 15 minutes to go to Yumbo Centre, you don't get hassled to buy anything, you can browse the products and lots of places to eat and drink there too. Around the resort there are a few mini golf places, good value and you get discount for other ones once done one We really enjoyed our stay here, as we have stayed twice we have done everything around Gran Canaria that we wanted so probably won't be back, but would recommend this hotel to people wanting a relaxing hotel but still have the option to go out and about exploring.

We stayed in Gran Canaria Princess for 11 nights and have just returned home. Check in was welcoming, fast and informative . We arrived later at night and there was a welcome box of food in our room, which included a sandwich, yogurt, fruit and water. The room was lovely, clean and bright with a good sized balcony with a table and chairs. There is a rail to hang wet swimwear etc. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard by a cheerful maid. Towels and bedding were change on request with no problem. There is a safety deposit box which is free and easy to use and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is large with a walk in shower, sink and mirror and toilet. There is a hairdryer, which i felt was a bit heavy but did the job, soap and body wash was provided and the shower was powerful but unpredictable at times. You are given 2 keys which was great as we were able to leave the air con on at all times. 2 pool towels are left in your room also. The hotel is spotless, everywhere is kept neat and tidy and toilets were cleaned throughout the day…a big shout out to the cleaning staff who are an asset to the hotel. The pool area is lovely, no reserving loungers until 10am, which gave us some entertainment in the mornings when towels were removed and people were returning later to find there was someone on ‘their’ bed 😂 AI soft drinks, beer, water and wine were on tap to help yourselves, spirits were served to you. There was a lifeguard in attendance at the pool at all times. You could always get a lounger no matter what time you went to the pool, sometimes it wasn’t so easy to find space to put it 🤔 I have to commend the gardener who kept everything pristine and was obviously dedicated to his job, 10/10. You can change your pool towels daily from 10.30-11.00am from a small room at the right hand side at the back, usually the lifeguard did it. There is a smoking area at the steps leading down to the restaurant which had tables and chairs and was well used. The snack bar was a lovely change from the restaurant at lunch time and the toasties, sandwiches and fries were made to order. The restaurant was clean and served buffet style meals at all times. The staff were not as friendly as I would have expected apart from one or two and rarely smiled or acknowledged you which lets the hotel down a bit. The food on the whole was very good, with plenty of choices although could have been a bit hotter in my opinion but I always found something different to choose daily to eat. The evening entertainment was a hit or miss. Either very good or not so good. It was always busy but there are lots of tables to accommodate everyone. There is also a smoking area at night. I have to mention Cleo, the very happy, very helpful and very conscientious waitress, she definitely is an asset and the others should learn their customer service from her. She deserves a pay rise! Location was very good, handy for the market, shops, restaurants and bus stop. The beach was 15-20 minutes walk. We used the local bus to visit Puerto Mogan and Puerto Rico, very easy and comfortable and a great price too. Mogan was beautiful, we visited on a Friday, market day and what a market, it’s massive with lots and lots of stalls, something for everyone. Unfortunately, the staff, not all but most of them would benefit from customer service training to bring my 4 stars to five. We would however recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the area.
