I stayed here 10 years ago for my 50th and came back for my 60th and what a disappointment! Hotel is just okay for 4 star. If you like really nice hotels this is not the one! Air conditioning is sporadic. Cleaning is good enough. Rooms are okay but showing signs of wear and need upgrading. Hotel couches in main foyer are also showing signs of wear and the restaurant chairs/tables too. Choices for food at breakfast and dinner are good enough but we have had much better and I did enjoy most of my meals. Pool area is nice enough but far too crowded and walking around can be tricky and finding a parasol seems to be a problem after 11am. Pools are nice enough for swimming, cooling down. Entertainment is the usual hotel standard. One of the entertainers needs to rein it in, pulling and shouting at people to get up and dance. All a bit sleazy the way he acts. All inclusive - IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE!! Do not be pulled it by thinking it’s worth it it’s not! The cocktails offered are not nice, from a machine and very limited choice! Last time I was here mojitos were all inclusive you now have to pay €5.80. No bottles of beer. No local pink or flavoured gins. No Kahula. No Prosecco. Lager is from a machine but only one local one ( no Heineken etc). Wine is the usual local wines. Coffees, tea and water. Vanilla watery ice-cream. I managed on cava and my other half on local gin. But so below expectation of a nice holiday cocktail! All inclusive lunch is 3 kinds of toasties, 3 kinds of frozen pizza, chips, small tuna salad or fruit salad. Small selection of cakes go out at 3-4pm. Anything else such as burgers you pay for! After 2 days none of this is appealing!! Surrounding areas are rundown, closed down and dirty. There is a police presence at night near one of the bar areas which was unnerving! Did I feel safe at night, no not really. Will we come back again… NO WAY!!! In our opinion the worst of the Canary Islands.
