am writing to provide feedback regarding our recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, our experience was far below expectations, and I believe it is important to bring these concerns to your attention. We arrived at around 10:00 PM and checked in. The first issue we noticed was that the air-conditioning in our room was blowing hot air. We reported this to the engineering department, and although they attended promptly, the issue was only slightly improved. As we were extremely tired from our flight, we decided to leave it for the night. The next morning, we woke up sweating. As we had a full itinerary, we forgot to report the issue again, and chose to tolerate it since our belongings were already unpacked and we had a small fan to use. During our stay, we also observed that the hotel staff showed a lack of customer service, particularly the manager, Enka, who seemed unprepared and unable to address complaints effectively. On the day of check-out, we requested a 6-hour extension because our flight was not until 10:00 PM. We agreed to pay the additional 300k. After breakfast—which was acceptable but not great—we noticed that the air-conditioning was once again hot and this time leaking. We went out for the first half of the day and returned around 12:00–12:30 PM for a nap, only to wake up sweating again at about 2:30 PM. I called reception with no response or action taken. When I called again at 3:00 PM, someone arrived about 10 minutes later and spent another 30 minutes working on the air-conditioning. While this was happening, I spoke with the manager to raise our concerns and requested to be moved to another room so that we could get ready comfortably. We still had two hours left before our extended check-out time at 6:00 PM, but the manager declined the request. Overall, our stay was disappointing, and we cannot recommend this hotel. The poor customer service—especially from the manager, Enka—left us feeling degraded. As Asians who have lived and been raised in Australia, we could not help but feel that we were treated differently from other guests. Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback.
