Visited for a week 29 April - 6th May 2026 with the Mrs and our boy (5). Booked a family room via Jet2 on the all inclusive basis. Room: Checked in at 2am to room 7007, one really awful sofa bed in the lounge and two single beds in the bedroom. Didn’t quite fancy being so high up with a young child either. Spoke to reception regarding what was booked and what was expected, offered room 4013 which was the same dreadful sofa bed this time in the lounge and a double bed in the bedroom. As it was directly across from the kids pool we accepted. Air con in the lounge room only. Arcade was next door probably hence why the room was vacant as the noise is pretty grim as is the noise of everyone entering the building passing our door 24/7. That being said, room was always extremely clean. Mattresses are god awful, like really bad. I didn’t sleep well at all across the week and was quite thankful to get home. Food: in all fairness you get what you pay for, the food is mostly pretty bad but you can find things to eat. Breakfast time is grim for choice on the buffet but outside there is an egg bar where you can get omelettes, fried eggs and pancakes. Lunch buffet daily is bad, we lunched via the snack bars (chips and pizza) which is fine. Dinner is a mixed bag, some nights it was really good others not so. But you do get what you pay for and it’s always hit and miss at these places. Drinks are pre-mixed rubbish as always and the spirits are very very weak. How people got drunk on them is a wonder, neither of us felt any effects of alcohol all week. But again this isn’t just this hotel, it’s the same at most all inclusive budget hotels. Oddly there is no water fountain, you can get water from the bar but you need to queue. Failing that, bottled water at these shop which is overpriced. Shop at the bottom of the hill called DelBoys is the place to go for your water. They have one ice cream bar what is only open 3 hours per day and closed all day on a Saturday. For a family holiday focused hotel that’s a bit odd. Pool area: The weather wasn’t great but obviously that’s not the fault of the hotel. The pools are Baltic cold and we quickly found that when the wee man would go in, he would be shivering cold not long after coming out. Unsure if they heat the pool during the busier season but even on the warm days this week the pool was too cold. There was always sun beds but you do notice towels being put out at 7-8am and not removed by the staff. This is pretty poor considering they have signs saying that will happen, perhaps it’s more enforced as the season progresses. We found the pool area to be pretty clean, the staff do a great job especially Ali, he’s a cracking lad. Staff: we found all the staff to be really lovely and they do work so hard. They do put up with some amount of odd behaviour from certain people and I take my hat off to them for that. Being pestered by the spa people was the only downside. Entertainment: with a 5 year old we were usually in the room by 22.00 so can’t comment on past that. Bingo was literally every night after the kids disco which was a bit boring, we didn’t join in. The kids club wasn’t great but the lady Panda is lovely and I think as the season progresses the kids club would come alive. As I say, you get what you pay for. £1100 for a week for the three of us is decent value. I genuinely wouldn’t pay much more at all, there was a family of 3 going back in September at a cost more than double what we paid…I can’t imagine why. Budget friendly and would certainly be a solid 3 star hotel. It’s not one we would return to, but one we had amok weeks holiday at.
