Not what I expected for a nearly $1000 per night.

I paid nearly a grand per night after taxes and fees and that was the lowest option. There was so much mosquitoes accumulated around my room door. Inside the room was just average old looking room with two beds. The food here not too much options, taste average but expensive. Coffee store was horrible but expensive you have to drive out for Starbucks. The only thing I like about this hotel is they have good size pool and it’s open 24 hours. Will I come back with this price? No. Was it worth the money? No.

This is an absolute beautiful property with pools, galore, oceanfront beauty and amazing amenities. I would take my family back, just be aware that the property is not completely secure and hold your valuables close.

Amazing experience!

The Grand Hyatt was absolutely amazing! There are so many activities at the resort which was amazing for my husband and I since he's paralyzed. Going to Hawaii can be not the most accessible for my husband being in a manual wheelchair since going to the beach is not really an option and the excursions are usually hard to do as well. The hotel had so many pools and the lagoon for us to still enjoy every moment though. They had lifts to get in and out of the pool/lagoon but my husband is stubborn and didn't even use them. It was great to know that we had the option though! One of the biggest things my husband was excited for was the fact that there was a ramp to go to the waterslide! Places never have ramps to do that so it was really nice to see that option! The staff was incredible as well, so friendly and attentive to our needs! We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Best Experience at a Resort on Kauai

The beauty and friendliness of the staff is top notch! From the moment arriving to the moment departing and everything in between was a 5-star experience. The location of the hotel along the coast with walking trails, cliffs and beach looks like a perfect picture out of travel and luxury. I stayed in a room with a partial ocean view, overlooking the pool area and it was breathtaking. The pool and gym are open 24/7. Spa services are amazing, I recommend booking with Deanna. The lazy river, water slide, and saltwater lagoon are worth telling everyone (solo travelers, friends, and family with kids) about. Please try to the Guava and Ube pina coladas at the Captains Bar near the pools. The food and live music are fantastic. It's hard to describe into words how nice this resort is. This was my first visit to the Grand Hyatt Kauai, but it will not be the last. I have stayed in other resorts in Kauai, and this was by far the best experience so far. It's amazing how well this resort is run with so many guest.
