We stayed at Grand Istana Rama for 5 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel grounds was lovely. It was nice to see how well they look after the squirrels and all the fish in the ponds. The room and bathroom was newly renovated. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The pool is huge but unfortunately the swim up bar area is not big enough. There was a lot of little kids playing in this area which was really annoying. Endra at the pool bar is really good at his job. The food at 69 Bar and Bistro was always good. Only negative was that the hotel don't have any gluten free food for breakfast, even just gluten free bread would have been great. The hotel also did not have Almond milk. I could not order any coffee, milkshake or any other milk based drinks. The location next to The Beachwalk Mall is very convenient.

This was my sixth stay at Grand Istana Rama with many more to come. All the staff are wonderful in all the areas, from the 69 Bar and Resto, the cleaners, those maintaining the grounds which always look stunning, reception where you are always greeted with a smile The rooms are large and very comfortable, with beautiful gardens to look at when you leave the room. The food is delicious and the service excellent and great entertainment in the 69 Bar and Resto.. The pool area is always clean and busy and Kuta Beach is straight over the road. Beachwalk shopping centre is less than a 5 minute walk. Special thanks as always goes to Maniez who always helps me with my booking. Maniez knows which particular area I like to stay and never lets me down. The photo below is the greeting I received when I walked into my room. A great start to the holiday. I will be back for stay number 7 in the not too distant future.
