Amazing hotel!

This was our 2nd visit to the hotel and we are looking forward to going back for a 3rd visit, just need to get it booked Before going we emailed and requested a specific room and the request was honoured, much to my delight. The hotel made this trip extra special, we were greeted by Marlene Castro at reception upon arrival, she had booked our à la cartes for our stay for us. So we only ate at the evening buffet on our first night. Marlene was wonderful during our stay and checked up on us and made sure we were having a good experience. She is such asset to the hotel. When we arrived at the room, which had the most stunning of views and sun all day. There was strawberries, a charcuterie board, and wine waiting for us. The beach, unfortunately, had a lot of Sargassum, this is something most hotels along the coast are dealing with and the hotel was doing everything they could to clear this. The pools are all lovely and lots of bed available, our favourite was the quiet pool and normally could find spare beds all day. Wildlife was a bit different this time and seemed to be less monkeys and coatis, but more raccoons which are adorable. Can still stop monkeys and coatis about the hotel, the coatis will try and raid your bags 🤣🤣 The à la cartes are so good, the only one we didn’t try was Casa Alma, the filet steak in carnal was amazing! One of the best steaks I have ever had! The food in every à la carte was so good! The breakfast and lunch buffets had plenty to offer, Casa Alma has some sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs during the day. The staff were all so friendly. Marco the concierge was also polite and friendly, we did get locked out our room on the 2nd last when the keys stopped working and he has security get us back in our room within 15 mins. We can’t wait to go back to this hotel
