Stayed at this hotel as a couple in June 2025. Giving the full ‘all inclusive’ (or ‘comfort plus’ package as branded by the hotel) review as we searched for this previously via Tripadvisor and were unable to find what we were looking for! Absolutely DO NOT book this hotel if you have mobility problems or struggle with climbing stairs. The hotel is located on the side of a very steep incline and there are no lifts or routes in the external areas which would be easily accessible to you and I believe there was no help from staff to provide this. There are a lot of stairs in this establishment to and from the pool, and again more down to the beach from the pool area. I will start with the food and what was available to us as all inclusive or ‘comfort plus’ guests. Firstly, please note that the ‘snack bars’, by the pool and on the beach are not part of the package, any food you ask for from these will be charged to your room on departure or at the bar after ordering. There is a full breakfast buffet, a smaller sized lunch buffet and a full dinner buffet available to you every day of your stay. There are no additional snack options available (though there were some very sorry looking sandwiches available in the upstairs panoramic view bar which we didn’t touch). Unlike some other Grecotel hotels, where you can dine in all the al a carte restaurants during your stay and these are included within the all-inclusive package, at Eva Palace this is not the case you will only be able to choose ONE at the hotel per seven nights of your stay. Please also note, even though there are other restaurants available on the app at other local Grecotels, these are also NOT included and you will NOT be able to redeem your one free meal at these. The hotel does state that you can dine at these with a discount of 20 Euros each, however there are some really great options in Corfu Town or even outside the hotel (we went to the Apovrado restaurant a two-minute walk from the hotel) for far cheaper which are good quality. However, having said that the all-inclusive concept at this hotel is strange at best, we were not disappointed by the quality of the food at all. It was all excellent, fresh and there were several different options available which were varied every day. Food was plentiful and good quality with a variety of Greek and Mediterranean dishes at lunch and dinner. The lunch is quite a lot smaller than the dinner buffet, however it is also of a good quality and was changed up every day. We did visit the La Contessa Italian restaurant as our ‘free’ al a carte meal and were very impressed, again, excellent quality food and good portions cooked well. Drinks – be careful if you are on the all-inclusive package and check menus before ordering and agreeing on drinks at the hotel – all-inclusive does also not mean all included drinks at this hotel! Look at the menus available at the bars, beach and pool. If there is a ‘CP’ noted next to the drink, it is included in the all-inclusive package. If not, you’d better get your wallet ready! Most cocktails, wines and some beer was included, however please do ask if you are unsure otherwise again you will be charged. I must say that drinks were of good quality, however if you are all-inclusive you will find the service very slow as the waiters are prioritising the cash-paying guests for tips by the beach and pool. Despite this the staff are friendly, helpful and will answer any queries you may have. While the hotel room was minimalist, it had incredible views over the peninsular and onto the ocean which you could enjoy from your room with a coffee from the provided Nespresso machine. Do not expect your fridge to be filled with drinks (either alcoholic or soft) or snacks as it does at most all inclusives, as this will not happen and we were told this would not be provided. The bed was very comfortable and sheets were changed when we requested by placing the card provided on the bed. The room was clean and was serviced fastidiously every day. The bathroom was a little dated and I will say we were not fans of the frosted glass window between the bathroom and the main room but we are very comfortable with each other and this didn’t really bother us. The room was of a good size and there was plenty of wardrobe space for a weeks stay. We were delighted to find that our request for a quiet area in the hotel was honoured and we slept very well. The pool areas were cleaned and maintained well and were serviced by the waiters from the pool bar at your sunbed – please remember the tip in relation to drinks if you are all-inclusive otherwise you will get a bill! It was quiet and relaxing with some music playing from the bar, luckily it was kept at a decent volume and was not disturbing to relaxation. Do not attend this hotel if you are looking for party city as you will be disappointed. However if you are looking for a peaceful chilled out experience for rsome much needed downtime than I’m pleased to say you came to the right place. The pools were kept at a perfect temperature and we noted that these were checked throughout the stay and cleaned well. While there were no sunbed wars for spaces at the pool early morning, if you arrive later than 10am it is likely you will not get a bed. The beds themselves were comfortable and padded, definitely providing a good opportunity for a pool day chilling out. The beach area was beautiful. It is located in an almost cove-like part of the peninsula and is very tranquil and quiet. There are many sunbeds available at different times of the day and relaxing on the sunbeds is amazing. The walk down the stairs to get to the beach has beautifully maintained gardens and Grecian flowers along the way and gave the feel of a boutique hotel, especially with the numerous decking sunbathing areas that you walk past on the stairs down to the beach. There is a water taxi service which takes you around the other Grecotel establishments for free a couple of times a day. You can also catch a water taxi to Corfu Town though this is quite pricey at 50 Euros. The hotel run a return shuttle bus service for free a couple of times a day to Corfu Town which you can book through the app, I strongly recommend that you take the opportunity to use this, though make sure you turn up early as sometimes this is oversubscribed and there can be a bit of scuffle to get on. The hotel is fairly isolated and there is quite a walk to the nearest public transport. There are however one or two restaurants located close by (I would definitely recommend the Apovrado a couple of minutes walk which is incredible). The hotel very kindly were able to help us hire a car for a couple of days which helped us get out and explore the island a bit further than Corfu Town which was fantastic. I believe it was about 90 Euros a day for a brand new medium sized modern air with air con. There are some truly breathtaking visits on the island and so recommend you do this at you own pace. Corfu Town itself is beautiful, about a 10km / 15 minute journey and well worth the visit to the old town, forts and numerous shops and restaurants. I think top highlight of the hotel (apart from the stunning beach) was the panoramic bar where we enjoyed some lovely drinks in the evening. The view from this bar on the third floor was just outstanding, and to watch the sunset from here was a really special experience. Whilst our experience with the all inclusive concept here was at times a little confusing (and not necessarily all-inclusive!), we would absolutely stay again at this friendly, well-kept and clean hotel again. Lovely staff, wonderful food in a beautiful surrounding which was well attended to.
