Grecotel Luxme Daphnila Bay Dassia

We stayed for 5 nights as a family group. Our rooms were clean, air conditioned, modern and we had sea views from our rooms which were special to have (request sea views if you can - tip 1). All restaurants were good quality with enough variety to ensure you tried something new each evening BUT you just book before you arrive (tip number 2) ….which is fine if you read Trip Advisor and see these tips but lots didn’t and then grumbled that the restaurants were fully booked….so plan ahead! Staff were all friendly, polite and a step up from other places we’ve seen, shout out to Barbara! This is somewhere i’d highly recommend and can easily see us returning or trying another Grecotel/Luxme resort

Cherise_Bradbury 👩‍💼 service was super friendly, there is a WhatsApp chat which I well over used lol 🛺 there is carts to take you around the resort 🏖️ the beach is gorgeous with lots of areas to sit with bars, food, a children’s club & plenty of activities - we loved going early to enjoy a coffee whilst watching the sunrise and having a morning swim before breakfast in the main buffet 🏊‍♀️ there one main pool which is gorgeous with a bar, a small children’s pool next to it and another sheltered pool and a fourth pool for children in a separate garden area too - all super clean with plenty seating 🍽️ food was delicious, there is snacks available 24/7, many restaurants including A La Carte & buffets 🤑 get discounts off meals at the sister hotels only a 10 minute drive away 🍹 drinks are great, staff often come and ask for your orders 👟 so many activities: paddle, tennis, indoor & outdoor gym, swimming, water sports, renting a boat, snorkeling, scuba diving, pool, darts, children’s clubs, beach ball & more! 💆‍♀️ gorgeous spa with loads of treatment options 🍷 wine tasting experiences & many wines to choose from including some from vineyards on the island 🛌 we stayed in a bungalow by the beach, it was very peaceful, super clean & spacious with space to sleep 4, mini bar is topped up daily for free, anything requested is brought straight to your room & pick up / drop off by cart / car 🚕 taxi service is great & prompt 💰affordable & reasonably priced 💃 shows & concerts daily 🤱 suitable for couples & families - we went for our anniversary ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - overall we loved our experience here, we had a great balance of being active, relaxing & eating great food - the location is perfect and will be looking to stay at more of the Grecotel hotels in the future! My only improvement would be to request more availability at the A La Carte restaurants for dinner (we were able to dine at two and was there four nights, one night we chose to go to the sister hotel Corfu Imperial and the other night we dined in the buffet which is still great)

We stayed here as part of a Tennis Holiday Group (Active Away) and it was great! Everything was nice, beautiful views from the outdoor bar area, nice beach area (Yes its narrow) but so what! There is a massive grassy area right beside which is even better and nicely shaded by palm trees and olive tree- just serene! The food is great and all of the staff were so friendly, helpful and just so pleasant, they couldn't do enough for you! Oh and of course- the tennis courts- lovely Astroturf courts with stunning mountain views from the top courts-loved it! They catered so well for me as a vegan- no fuss made at all! Honestly, delightful! Thankyou to everybody at Daphnila Bay- you're great!

We travelled in September 2025. We booked this hotel due to the TUI website describing the beach as “Kitten Soft Sand”. It’s not! The beach is gritty and only 3 meters wide at best. Don’t come here if you want a lovely wide sandy beach. ( goes to the West side of the island). Pros Staff are friendly and warm, lovely views, buggy to help take you from bottom of steep hill (beach) to the top near the main pool. Weather hot, pool fresh (not heated), you’re in Greece and not the wet weather of Manchester. Cons Almost impossible to book one of the restaurants to eat in. (And we are not peak season) couldn’t pre book on App as we didn’t have a room number prior to checking in. Beach is not as advertised, food in main restaurant is standard hotel food you’d expect. Wasps and wasps and wasps. Very hilly and uneven paths and pavements when considering this place for children. Bungalow rooms are sizeable but outdated and again, not suitable for children. ( if you get the ones with the stone floors that is). Bring ample insect spray! Again, I repeat, bring ample insect spray! Conclusion, I would return to Corfu, but not this hotel and not this side of the island. I’d head to the West coast near Gilfada where the beaches are beautiful and sandy. I would not return to this hotel due to the previously mentioned ‘Cons’

We stayed for a week as a multi-generational family, first week of September, and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, it was nowhere near the luxurious resort it's made out to be online. The position and views are fantastic, particularly from the sea view rooms. Whilst rooms are tired and outdated, we had read about this beforehand and weren't too bothered as we spent so little time there. However, our main complaint was that there are barriers on the balcony which completely obstruct the view when sat down, rendering sea view rooms pointless. There is a relatively steep hill down to the beach but it's really not far & there are buggies should you need them. The beach is lovely, but agree with other reviews that it feels a tad cramped. But the sea is safe and shallow for little ones. I don't understand any of the reviews with negative comments re the food. The Corfu hot stone & tavernaki restaurants were excellent, and hot stone felt luxurious. My parents ate at the adults only & said it was delicious fine dining. We also ate at two of the restaurants at the sister hotel Imperial and had the best hotel meals there. The seafood one in particular was fantastic. Would strongly recommend Daphnila Village - authentic corfiot food, absolutely delicious & all in a beautiful setting. The buffet options were extensive & covered everything you could want. For more polished lunches, head to the kumquat lounge by reception for a la carte, away from the madness of families (which included us!) The app/restaurant reservations drove me mad - I spent an hour pre holiday trying to book us in, and the app wouldn't work. Even with trying to book a week in advance, we couldn't get into the Asian restaurant, I found it a really frustrating system. There was a problem with wasps but not sure what the hotel can do about that... The staff are all incredible, constantly going over & above, no ask was too much. This was a huge positive and made our stay special with lots of extra touches. We did wakeboarding & waterskiing. Kostas was a great instructor & the equipment was decent. We also rented a boat out for a half day, a great way to explore other parts of the island. Massages were impressive, however the spa feels incredibly tired & underwhelming. Overall we had a fantastic week, but felt like it had been misrepresented as a luxury hotel. Do not go if you want the Ikos experience, it's nothing like that whatsoever. However, we liked the laid back vibes & would definitely recommend to other families
