Grecotel Luxme Daphnila Bay Dassia

We have just come back from a 10 night stay at this beautiful hotel. This was our second visit and it was incredible. We stayed in a Sky lux room on the top floor with views for days! The room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned every day. Housekeeping really looked after us well. The hotel is a brilliant all-inclusive value for money choice with ample options in terms of food and drinks. The room overlooked the pool and entertainment area but with the balcony doors closed, it was quiet and peaceful if we wanted it to be. The staff were amazing and, even in really hot conditions, they were always smiling and giving exceptional service. We cannot wait to go back again soon with the extended family! We are currently staying at this hotel, and everything has been just as magical as we imagined before arriving! We are extremely happy with our room, the impeccable cleanliness, and the overall hospitality. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the Gatopardo Restaurant. We celebrated our son's 5th birthday there, and everything was simply perfect. We would especially like to thank Giannis, Manos, Natalia, Chrysa, and Giorgos. They were exceptional professionals, always smiling, kind, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make this special day unforgettable for our son and for our whole family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything! You made our vacation even more special and gave us memories that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend this hotel and especially the Gatopardo Restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding hospitality experience.

The views are lovely and the staff work hard and are friendly, but otherwise I'd say this hotel doesn't deliver quite as well as it thinks it does and relies too much on that lovely view. I love Corfu but don't think I'd return to this hotel. The bungalows are lovely inside and we were up the top area so had a gorgeous view - at the price of being woken by the restaurant noise in the early mornings. We did see inside a room in the main building which was very unimpressive and tired - dark wood furniture, old bathroom with poor over-bath shower. Don't know if all are like that. The main buffet restaurant food is acceptable but far from the best AI buffets I've experienced. I have come to expect some offering where eg: fish/meat is being freshly cooked in front of me as an alternative to the pre-prepared offerings but not here. The salad range is good. Although not relevant for us, it doesn't have a children's food station nor plastic plates etc which I find now is the norm at many places, but perhaps this is because overall I don't feel this hotel is particularly suited to younger children. For instance, the beach is narrow , taken up with beds and sand/gravel mix, so not suitable for play/digging. Like elsewhere on the Med, the sea is shallow and warm so suitable for kids. The (very cold) pool is fairly squashed in at the top of the hill with a narrow paddling area for children but does benefit from waiter-bar service. The Asian restaurant by the beach does acceptable but unvaried lunch fare (wraps, pizza, fruit salad, kebabs) but decent Asian food in the evenings. The Greek Taverna for evening meals is good. Download the App before arriving and pre-book. The App is one of the better facilities. The garden area behind the beach has plenty of beds and trees for shade. The bar is easy access and has a wide range of offerings that the staff make easily and willingly. Yes, the hill is steep and there are plenty of warnings about this. The main evening entertainment area is only accessible via steps. In general the entertainment is formulaic - the usual Greek dancing offerings , the same acrobats routine we've seen in other countries and the singing of some groups was poor. Its a flat 15eu taxi ride to Gouvia for variety and many restaurants.

very nice hotel we went just me and my 2 kids (our second time), the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfy. the beach is abseloutely gorgeous and the water is a perfect temperature and crystal clear which is perfect for snorkelling. however they dont specify that you really need to book the other restraunts a few weeks in advance if you want to go i highly recomend the danila village experiance (i think thats what its called) we didnt really go to the pool but the times we did it wasnt too loud and the water was very refreshing. there are golf buggies shuttling people up and down the hill from the beach to the outside of the hotel as the hill is quite steep but not really an issue the main restraunt has a very wide veriety of food to eat. the room sevice every day is also very nice (they make the beds and stuff) in the rooms there is a mini fridge as well. the staff are all lovely and friendly and the lifeguard on our most recent visit was much better than the one before (who was quite rude) it is very good value. one final point: if you have a late flight it is best to book shower rooms in advance (which the dont specify either...slightly annoying) otherwise you have to use the ones by the pool again no issue with that

Just back from a week at this hotel. Our flights were delayed, so we were late! The Hotel were so responsive to our late arrival, they offered a nice club sandwich and of course the location of the bar. We normally only attend adult only hotels, but this location suited us as we were moving after a week. Hotel Reception and Staff are amazing. We did have a slight issue with our bed but it was rectifed 10 minutes after reporting it. The rooms and toilets are a bit tired, some say rustic, not as modern as some we have stayed at however, the staff, facilities, food and people we met on this holiday more than made up for any minor issues. the hotel cleanliness is spotless, the food available in the Buffet and in the bookable restaraunts was absolutely fantastic. There was a good atmosphere in the hotel, international clients and we seemed to mix well with most. There was no excessive noise which is good if you have kids I suppose. The beach was a great place to be every day, shallow warm waters next to a fabulous Beach Bar, (A Big note of thanks to Antonis and staff for looking after me and my wife daily.)
