Gregoire's Apartments

We heard from the friends it's a no go place But still we want to see for our self Room dusty and spider web in the bathroom think they would do a better job next day, unfortunately it was like that till we departure. The pool full with noise kids from the local community. We paid a hotel with pool that we can used but unfortunately it was a shame. The food was an okay. I won't book again or stay in this place again.

Dont go there. The hotel-staff and manager are very rude and there is no service at all at this place. We got confirmed on email that we Will get the room that we wanted. When we arrive we dont get the room and they dont care. We booked a dinner but the staff forgot and instead of apologize they blame us for booking the wrong date. Horrible!

It was a very bad decision to book this apartment! It does not look as in the pictures published at hotels.com! The apartment has no charme, it is very loud (street infront) and I could not sleep, because the mattress was very old and full of mites. It itched the whole night and in the morning my skin was red, itchy and inflamed. We went to the reception (They have no reception at all at the building and you have to walk 5min to Island Lodge!) and asked for another room, but they could just offer us another room in the Hotel Island Lodge (Gregoires belongs to the Island Lodge) for an additional amount of EUR 140. We already paid EUR 130, which is way tooooo much for this ugly & bad cleaned room, and did not want do pay even more. Thus, we booked another hotel (Chateau St. Cloud which is very nice and we can highly recommend) and they did not refund us any money for our circumstances or for the breakfast we did not demand at all, because we stayed in another hotel. This is an absolute NO-GO!!!! Also the facility of the quite expensive Island Lodge is not nice at all. The restaurant, where the breakfast ist, is under construction and you can not talk to each other due to the noise. Also the pool area with the pool bar is not as it looks in the pictures. There is also no bar keeper at the pool bar. Also the beach is small and you have lots of sea weed in front. Unfortunately, for us this was a very bad experience for us & we cannot recommend Gregoires Apartments at all!

We had a wonderful stay at Gregoires for our honeymoon. The room was spacious, clean and had greate wifi connection. Greate location near the beach, with the best grocery shop and pizza in the same building. The best part of our stay was the facilities at La digue lodge, wich was included in our stay. The staff was friendly, food was amazing and made a perfect romantic atmosphere. We also went on a 3 hour snorkling trip booked by the hotel, witch tourned into 5 hours and a trip around the island with our great shipper and guide. You can rent bikes just outside the lodge, so dont rent by the ferry when you arrive. When you arrive at the ferry, you will be shuttled with the bus from la digue lodge. We would love to come again sometime!

First of all the service is horrible, very unfriendly staff. The beds are very uncomfortable. The bathroom is dirty. There’s no hot water in the shower, and there’s very little cold water coming out of it.... impossible to take a normal shower. The buffet is very basic and overpriced. We came from the beach with wet sandy towels and asked to exchange them for clean ones to go to the pool but the guy at the front desk said that you’re only allowed to have one per day, we insisted in a friendly way but he just refused very impolitely. Very bad experience.... definitely not worth 200 euros.
