We returned a few days ago from an amazing trip to Tenerife staying at the adults only H10 Gran Tinerfe in Costa Adeje. We stayed 7 nights on an all inclusive privilege basis, we had a high floor, sea view room (0920). On our arrival and privilege check we were greeted with a glass of fizz each, The reception staff and barstaff were all super friendly, the bar and sofa areas were lovely... they were clean, airy, air conditioned and not very busy but it was almost teatime and the sun was shining. We were given a guided tour of all the restaurants, we could eat at the a la carte ones too as part of privilege including breakfast which was amazing looking out over the coast. The rooftop and privilege lounge was the best, ample comfortable loungers and beds and always some free no sunbed wars. We were looked after by Jenny from the lounge bringing fruit, sangria and clearing plates etc when we helped ourselves to snacks, food, drinks in the lounge taking them to our sunbeds. The room we had was spotless cleaned everyday and towels when we wanted incl beach towels free with Privilege. We had a turn down service nightly, pillow menu, espresso machine, snacks and minibar daily, I loved the little quotes and chocolates left on our bed for us each night. We have enjoyed all the food and drink, we used the all inclusive buffet restaurant a number of times but not once did it feel like we were all inclusive as there is waitress service for drinks and clearing away and assistance with the menu if we were unfamiliar. The views on the terrace again were incredible esp the sunset. We did not have any issues at all while we were there, the weather was fabulous inspite of what was all over social media. The swimming pools were welcome each day x 2 cool pools and one heated and the jacuzzi's were lovely. The pool bar did snacks, salad, crisps & sandwiches no chips, which is a first for us at a snack bar, but not missed. No burgers, pizzas or hotdogs either, again we didnt miss that. There was icecreams as much as you wanted. With the jacuzzi in privilege you could sip your fizz, perfect watching the sunset. The food we found to be delicious and the coffee & cakes in the afternoon gorgeous. We highly recommend this hotel, right on the beach, easy walking for Puerto colon and further one way together with Los christianos and Las America's the other way. We walked everywhere but taxis were outside or reception would call one. We will definitely be back for some more winter sun. Loved it all and staff could not do enough for us.

a gem of a hotel in a brilliant location!

I was expecting a brilliant hotel for the money I paid and that is exactly what I got. The hotel is in a brilliant location, situated between playa de las americas and fanabe beach. You can walk to either area in about 10 mins along the promenade. we were in a standard room with balcony in number 44. a large, recently refurbished room with no view but we weren't expecting one. A big 55 inch TV with British channels was handy when we were back in the room. This room was not in the main building on the ground floor but it suited us as it was a very short walk to the pool areas. The food was always varied, delicious and plentiful. If all inclusive, speak to reception about booking your a la carte meals in the asensen dining experience and the Italian restaurant. They aren't to be missed. Brilliant food and service in both. Drinks were premium spirits and of excellent quality. Only two lagers on tap. Estrella Damm at 5.2% and Lemon Beer at 3%. I feel there could be better options than this as there is no strength in-between. Pool area was always clean and well kept. The pool bar was open 10-6 and served most drinks and some snacks. The beach is accessed directly in front of the hotel but we didn't really use it. Entertainment team were brilliant throughout our stay. Especially when the weather was cloudy for the first 3 days. Dani, Victoria, Dora and the two Italian ladies are a credit to the hotel. Never pushy but advertising what activities were happening at certain times. French bowls, archery, rifle shooting, ping pong and shuffleboard were all available. Special mention to Dani as he really made our holiday with his humour and quirky behaviour. We played bowls with about 4 different nationalities of people and he was communicating in about 5 different languages or so it seemed ha. Victoria and Dora were also wonderful with my pregnant wife and adjusted certain activities so that she could join in. She really appreciated that! Genesis was my stand out staff member working in the hotel itself. Always smiling, attentive and willing to have a conversation with you in perfect English at either the bar or in the restaurants. In Asensen dining experience, she went above and beyond to change a dish to suit my wife's dietary requirements even though we hadn't declared this beforehand. Our fault entirely but she made it happen and little things like this made our holiday. We would definitely return to this hotel but with twins on the way, I don't think it will be for a good while! I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a couples holiday in a very quiet setting. Hotel caters more for over 50's clientele and we knew that beforehand. This was our second time in a H10 hotel in the canary islands and it wont be our last!

Very Good Hotel

Stayed 7 nights AI in a junior suite 10th floor. Lots of positives, food, room, cleanliness, staff, amenities all great. Cant really say anything negative about this place, we usually go to H10 hotels if there is one in our destination because you can almost guarantee a quality experience and this was no exception. Wasnt too keen on the immediate area around the hotel, a bit run down TBH but there is a good walk to Las Americas and the bus station is a 10 minute walk away and you can get to most parts of the island from there (Los Christianos for 1.45 EUR each way, Los Gigantes 4,20 Each way) All in all a good quality hotel, we will return.

Relaxing stay with friendly staff

Just returned from 6 nights staying half board. Really relaxing break away in a clean hotel with lovely staff. On arrival, I was very unwell (travel sickness) and the reception staff were so kind and helpful. We’d also been delayed by our transfer to the hotel and so almost missed the evening dinner slot but due to me feeling so unwell the lovely lady at reception arranged for sandwiches and fruit to be sent up to our room. It was a really thoughtful gesture, thank you! When we went down into the foyer the following day, the same staff had remembered us and asked if I was feeling better which I really appreciated. The selection of food available at breakfast was great and the evening meal options were also varied, even for me as a vegetarian. The pool areas were clean and the staff manning the pool bar were really friendly. The only slight thing that let our stay down was that some of the hotel needs some maintenance/upgrading. For example, outside of our room (303) there was a big dent in the wall and lots of the hotel room doors need some paint or replacing. However, none of this takes away from the lovely stay that we had and we would return here again in the future.
