Helea Family Beach Resort

Me and my partner stayed in this fabulous hotel in June to celebrate a special milestone birthday, and upon arrival we were immediately satisfied that we’d chosen wisely. The room was nicely sized and well equipped with a beautiful view of the sea, the restaurant choice and quality was excellent for every mealtime, the hotel cleanliness was also excellent, you’d really be hard pushed to find fault with anything, beyond the hotel the bus service is convenient and very reasonably priced to visit other areas. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and destination to fellow travellers.

We’ve just returned from the most incredible stay at Helea Lifestyle Resort and I honestly can’t think of a single thing that could’ve been better. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, organised, and beautifully presented, you can really tell how much pride they take in keeping the place so tidy and smart. This was a really special trip for us, it was my fiancé’s first time ever going abroad and our very first holiday together, (he being 28 and me 25), what a first holiday it was! Helea completely exceeded both our expectations and has definitely set the bar very high for any future trips. The food was absolutely amazing! Every meal felt fresh and full of flavour, with such a wide variety to choose from, and something different each day so it never got repetitive. There was everything from delicious local dishes to comforting favourites like pizza, pasta and chips, all beautifully prepared and constantly replenished. The restaurant staff were always so quick, friendly, and attentive too, making every mealtime a pleasure. We were extremely lucky to be given a room upgrade from a land view, to sea view with a balcony, which was an extra special treat! Our room was lovely, clean, stylish, and comfortable with everything we needed. The whole resort has a really modern and luxurious feel, but still manages to stay welcoming and relaxed. The beach is stunning, with clear water and soft sand, and the pools were always sparkling clean. We never once struggled to find a sunbed, even right by the pool, which made every day so easy and stress-free. Even though it’s a family hotel, it still felt so peaceful and calm throughout our stay. There was a great balance, plenty for families to enjoy, but also lots of quiet areas for relaxing if that’s what you prefer. A special mention has to go to the spa, the service there was absolutely next level! I had the hot stone massage and it was genuinely mind-blowing. The therapists were so professional, attentive, and kind, and the whole experience left me feeling completely rejuvenated. Above all, what made the resort truly stand out was the staff. Every single person we encountered went out of their way to help, always with a smile. They couldn’t do enough for us, and their warmth and professionalism made such a difference to our stay. Helea Lifestyle Resort exceeded every expectation, it’s a place that manages to be both luxurious and laid-back, family-friendly yet peaceful, and genuinely faultless in every way. For my fiancé’s first time abroad, it couldn’t have been more perfect, and we both came home already talking about when we can return. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Lovely hotel, short distance from the hotel but I would have to agree with others and say it's not quite 5 star. Very difficult to book a la carte restaurants. We tried as soon as we booked into the hotel but couldn't and got told to try again at 8am the next day (not really what you want after a long day's traveling!) we eventually managed to make bookings, some at 9pm. Not ideal with young kids and elderly parents! When we arrived at fusion bar at 8.30 and there was no one on the table and the restaurant was very quiet. Quite rude staff who just wanted to rush us, turning lights off, saying they'd run out food etc. We had a similar experience at the Italian and Greek Restaurant. We were told they were fully booked but there were empty tables all around us? The food was ok at the a la carte restaurants but not great. My daughter was served a pink burger one evening. On arrival, we also got asked if we wanted a hand with our luggage (2 under 10s and 2 over 70s at 10pm after a long day travelling). This should be a given at a 5 star establishment and especially with our party. I think we were all so shocked to be asked, we just took our own luggage to then discover that our key didn't work so had to walk 10 minutes back to the main hotel! Good choice of food in the buffet restaurant and lovely, friendly staff there. Most staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and cleaned very well every day. I would agree with comments on lack of storage storage. Overall, lovely hotel but we have stayed in much nicer hotels with better food and service. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Gorgeous Resort! Never to busy! Very difficult to get booked into the restaurants as they are always full but other than that it was great not too busy a resort!
