Heritage Awali Golf and Spa Resort

We choose Heritage Awali to celebrate my birthday and were pleased to find the staff were really friendly and would do their best to go over and above our expectations.

We had a very nice stay here! The staff was extremly good! one of the best we have seen so far and they were doing everything to make our stay perfect! The food was excellent, the kids club team extrordinary and everyone is very friendly. We also enjoyed the hested pool, the nice snorkling and the massage at the hotel

Superb 5* resort!!!! We stayed at the Heritage Awali for 14 nights and were blown away with the resort from the warm and friendly staff, the delicious food to the beautiful grounds. We loved Infinity Blue, especially the Lobster night! The lady manager there was excellent. We dined at the Chateau one evening, the service and food were top notch! Every night at the bar we were greeted by the lovely Varshi, a credit to the hotel. The service we received at all the restaurants was fantastic. We were there when renovations were taking place but it didn’t affect our stay at all. The free massage you receive was excellent and the body scrub/massage I paid for was 5*, I can’t remember the lady’s name but she was the taller lady! My husband played both courses and the service he received was excellent! Top tips We hired a car which was delivered to the hotel, driving around the island was easy and when the weather wasn’t that good in the south we headed to the west coast Flic en Flac to the public beach as the sun always seemed to be out there. Excellent roti there too! Did a boat trip through Rolo boat trips to see dolphins/sting rays & turtles - highly recommend them! Must visit the Chamarel restaurant for the views and an excellent lunch too. We climbed Le Morne which was fairly hard going (take walking shoes) but worth the effort. There are great views all the way up so if you didn’t want to do the rock climb near the peak still great views throughout the walk. Take Nespresso pods with you as you only receive 4. Black river gorge and the waterfalls throughout the national park are all worth a visit. Shoes for the sea are recommended as lots of sharp coral (crocs work very well). For us Mauritius is a place we will cherish and big thanks to all at Heritage Awali, we had the best ever 🥰
