Heritance Aarah (Premium All Inclusive)

We had a fantastic honeymoon at the Heritance Aarah. The sandy beaches and blue waters of the island are stunning and we could mostly walk around barefoot and walk around the whole island in about 30 mins. During our stay, the island felt very private and peaceful not overcrowded (mid December to just before Christmas) The staff were a large part of making our stay so great, being incredibly hospitable, friendly and a pleasure to speak to and get to know. In particular we would like to thank our butler Hilmee for coordinating all of our activities and restaurant preferences and being so responsive. Thank you also to Shareef and Chandrika who always preempted our needs by the pool for towels, drinks or pizza. The food in each restaurant tasted very fresh, delicious and offered a vast range from comprehensive choice at Ranba with great buffet nights, gourmet dining at Ralu, beachside seafood grill at Ginifathi, a treat Sri Lankan - Maldivian set menu at Ambula and fun teppanyaki at Hathaa. The staff in the restaurants were very accommodating with any dietary requirements and thank you in particular to Deepak, Meesam, Sapna and Danush. The drinks selection with over 70 cocktails was the most extensive we’ve seen and thank you to Ishaara for making these for us and your recommendations of which to try and Kaanth during our dinner at Hathaa, where it was amazing to see his artistic talents and resourcefulness with decorations around the island. The whole island and its facilities are immaculately clean with housekeeping tending to villas promptly multiple times a day. We also enjoyed a few visits to the spa which was very relaxing, the water sports centre and sports centre particularly for padel court and table tennis. It was our honeymoon, and at first I was a little worried that the Japanese menu might feel too familiar to me since I am Korean. However, everything exceeded my expectations. The menu, atmosphere, food, drinks, performance, and especially the chef were all absolutely perfect. I truly enjoyed every moment, and the kindness and hospitality made the experience even more special. If I ever come back to this place, I will definitely visit again without any hesitation. It was a quite great experience!! Actually we are east asians and hesitated to have asian food in Maldives. BUT it turned out to be the best experience in the resort. The Japanese food here are beyond having asian food in Asia. The food is just perfect, and the chief is very considerate and friendly. I am kind of half introvert and half extrovert. He just fits for both types of personality. I would come back to this resort just to have the dinner here made by him again. Thanks :)
