Hideaway is an exclusive all-suite resort for those who demand genuine luxury and expect only the best. Space and privacy is a hallmark here as there are some of the largest beachfront villas in the Maldives that provides the perfect backdrop for a glamorous retreat. The island host (butler) service, the first of its kind in the Maldives, is near legendary, ensuring that a dream getaway with exemplary service is a reality to meet and exceed guest expectations at all times. Over the years of operation, Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa has been fortunate to host many international celebrities and dignitaries in the resort due to the unique privacy that our island and villas provide. Opened in 2015 with 103 spacious beach and over water villas with their own private pool and hot tub. Tucked away in the northern part of Maldives, we are fortunate to have rich under water sea life, one of the biggest resort island and the only operational private Marina in the country. Four restaurants and bars offer a world of fine dining, including an excellent wine collection. The spa is a true wellness haven with 12 private treatment suites, steam room and hair salon set in manicured gardens. For those who love to be active, two outdoor pools, the recreation centre with its gym, two tennis courts, beach volleyball court, as well as extensive water sports, fishing, diving and a range of excursions ensures there's always something new to explore.

I am Here for Holiday with my family This Beautiful paradise with Very Nice Beach we really enjoy our Holiday. We have been sunset Dolphin tour it was amazing experience. Meeru Bar is Best Restaurant with Delicious Food and Outstanding Cocktails we really loved. Service is outstanding Specially Chamila in Meer Bar He is always helping us always giving Big attion to our table whenever we go there also I would like to mentioned some Names Yanthi,Manjula,Arista Upul thank you for your Great Hospitality. Finally General manager Afzal it is pleasure to meet him He is Friendly and Humble person we will Definitely come back again

Fabulous time in Hideaway

Hideaway’s team (especially manager Mrinall and restaurant manager Sonai) looked after us incredibly well. We were upgraded to a huge and very comfy Signature villa on day 3 and always felt that the Hideaway team got the balance perfectly right. Hideaway is a stunning location with the softest sand we’ve ever found in 10 trips to the Maldives, a beautiful lagoon and fantastic reef. The diving was equally good and we also enjoyed the water sports and tennis. The decor in the Signature villas is designed with Middle Eastern tastes in mind so might not suit everyone but the wonderful exterior area couldn’t have been more lovely. Standards of food were very high - we ate mostly in the main buffet restaurant but also went to Charcoal and Samsara. The quality of the food was amazing in both, as were the amount to eat - don’t expect to return home smaller than you left!

Wonderful stay in water and land villa!

We had an amazing holiday spending a few nights in a water villa facing the lagoon and then a few nights on a land villa. Everyone looked after us very well and made everything easy for us. We went on 4 dives and Ahmed looked after us very well. He organised great locations and was great at pointing out different things that we might have missed. Shahin also looked after us especially well and made sure he organised any activities we wanted to do and made the whole holiday run so smoothly. The tennis and padel courts are run very well and the people who worked there were great at bringing out water and cold flannels etc for us. The sailing was fun and although there wasn’t much wind we still managed to have a great time and saw a Manta Ray! The food was amazing throughout, especially the fruit at breakfast and Minaj was wonderful at giving us new fruits to try. Overall a wonderful holiday and definitely one to remember

Heavenly Hideaway!

We have just had the most amazing week at beautiful Hideaway. It is a spectacularly pretty resort: a crescent of perfect tropical island around an electric turquoise lagoon, fringed by beaches of the powderiest white sand. The interior is filled with stunning flowering shrubs and trees. The house reef is great and very easily accessible , with healthy coral and vibrant sealife: we saw plenty of sharks, eels, eagle rays, an occasional turtle plus all the usual reef fish. We spent the first few days in a two bedroom water villa, looking out over a big pool to the stunning lagoon. We were well looked after by Hridor, who kept everything immaculate. Very comfortable bed, pillows and duvet and the aircon was quiet and effective and didn’t blow onto the bed. After a few days, amazingly the resort upgraded us to their spectacularly luxurious 3 bedroom Signature beach villa, truly palatial and incredibly comfortable with the most enormous pool set in a beautiful garden area. A whole team visited morning and evening to restore it to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely butler, Shahin, who responded to all our requests very promptly. Great food at the buffet restaurant and we also enjoyed our dinners at Sunset Cafe, Samsara and Oasis. There is a huge amount to do at Hideaway: in addition to several snorkelling sessions on the house reef, we went to four different dive sites with friendly Ahmed of Meredis dive centre, played tennis a couple of times, tried out padel tennis and took a catamaran out a couple of times. We had a truly wonderful holiday and can’t thank the wonderful team at Hideaway enough!
