RESORT... what a joke.

The word "RESORT" is over used and tips are included. The staff would never be tipped by free will so they forces it. The best part of this entire location is the free trams. Over prices everything inside - food, water, coffee... The casino is horrid as well. Lots of young kids drinking and yelling for no reason.

Poor experience with rooms

The room was nice and the stay was okay.. the room was extremely hot the whole time and the A/C constantly went out. Woke up sweating both nights stay. Called twice and had maintainer come 3 times they just tell me to let the A/C come back on but it goes off in a hour later or just blows hot air. No true solution or seeming like they don’t care. Was told I can (open my hotel door To let cool air in) It’s a shame this is the only real hotel cause would have gone else where if I knew it was going to be a hot room the whole stay. Also the lights don’t always turn on. Worse part is I’m literally on the balcony (most expensive room) and it’s 4 AM & im writing this review trying to cool down. Very disappointed with stay

Boring Bimini

There are not many choices so this is why you are probably paying this price. The front desk staff could use some customer service training. We did go for Valentine’s Day so maybe they were overwhelmed but being rude is never mandatory. The hotel was clean and inviting. I did enjoy the casino nights. The other staff especially at the casino bar were amazing. Most things outside were closed or unavailable. If you go for the most part, the beach or touring the island on a cart is about all you can do. The waters are lovely and shipwreck island was nice. I would suggest meeting the locals for a more fun vacation.

Bimini deserves better

We’ve visited this resort multiple times and were hopeful each time that the experience would improve, but sadly, this stay was the most frustrating yet — and likely our last. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The website clearly states check-in is at 4 PM, but we were repeatedly told, “Your room should be ready by 5.” That vague timeline dragged on all day. Despite having a special-needs child who was struggling with the transition and desperately needing a place to decompress, we were denied any sort of accommodation, even after offering to pay extra for early access. We also requested a simple text notification when the room was ready — again, denied. Customer service here is nonexistent. Staff are generally unmotivated, which likely stems from the resort’s automatic 20% gratuity. There’s no urgency, no attentiveness, and unfortunately, no compassion. You feel more like a number than a valued guest. Transportation around the resort is another pain point. The trams take ages, and while the drivers are kind, they don’t communicate their routes — so guests are constantly confused about where they’re going and whether to hop on or off. When we finally got into our room (after 5 PM), we were hit with yet another letdown — no partial ocean view as promised. The TV didn’t work for two days. The light switches are a confusing mess and unmarked. One night we unknowingly went without AC because we didn’t realize there was a master switch hidden somewhere. The bathroom had no body wash, and overall cleanliness and setup were clearly rushed. Dining was just as inconsistent. We went to Tide based on the online menu to get pizza for our kids, only to be told they don’t serve pizza anymore. When we said we’d have to leave, the server suddenly said, “Oh, we do have pizza.” This kind of miscommunication was constant throughout the stay. Even the restaurant hours listed online were incorrect. And forget any perks from upgrading to premium ferry seating with Balearia. You’ll just arrive faster… to wait around in sweaty boat clothes while the hotel stonewalls everyone until 5 PM. There’s no real VIP option or elevated service, even for return guests willing to pay for it. We tried to request a late checkout — again, willing to pay — and were turned down without flexibility. This property could be amazing. The location is beautiful, and the resort has so much untapped potential. But operational inefficiency, disorganized systems, and an undertrained, under-motivated staff make for a deeply disappointing experience. As a former Hilton employee and hospitality consultant, it’s hard to watch this brand fall so far below expectations. We booked during a Cyber Deal, and frankly, that’s the only way this stay felt remotely acceptable. At full price, this resort is absolutely not worth it. Hilton, you have work to do — and Bimini deserves better.

High prices, high taxes, poor service.

We booked a great deal fly and stay, however when you arrive the hidden charges start appearing, there is a $50 per day resort fee and the hotel beach is closed on certain days to cater to the cruise ship passengers. Everything is expensive and they add a high taxes and tip. In general the service is poor, we had several problems with our room keys, reservations not showing, long waits for restaurant with poor service. However unlike the rest of the staff the front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. Our room was fine, no issues with the room, plenty of space and clean. The only reason we go to Bimini is to scuba dive with sharks if you're not there to dive or fish, you can get great beaches with great service and cheaper prices at other islands.
