Comfy for a couple nights

This hotel was a pretty nice hotel right on the beach, has clearly been around for awhile, but has been refurbished. The elevators are tiny, but the room was clean and comfortable. We got a balcony view of a parking garage, but a true oceanview would overlook the pools and probably have been noisier. Alice restaurant was okay for breakfast, and the $15 credit was why we went there, but the portions are tiny, and some entrees come with coffee, and others don't. A side of fruit was not an option either. We tried to go there for lunch one day, but the construction next door was incredibly loud - it will run you off for the restaurant and the pools, so loud that the Hilton employees really ought to wear some ear protection. Fortunately there are several other spots within walking distance. The beach was nice, and you get two chairs free, but the umbrella (probably necessary) will cost you an additional $38. The hotel staff was sufficiently hospitable. They mistakenly put a valet charge on my bill and quickly removed it. There is a trolley express rolling around to take you up and down the Miami Beach area. For the price, it was a pleasant place to stay for a couple of nights. The gym has a Peloton, but missing a weight on it. I never found the hair dryer in our room--but I never found any bugs, which would've bothered me more. They have a card system for the pool towels so you turn them in... kind of annoying to have one more thing to remember, but I get how people might leave towels strewn all over the beach.

Great experience. The room was beautiful and clean. My balcony view of the ocean was perfect. The service from the front desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant were amazing.
