An oasis in a busy city

We chose this hotel for the first couple of days of our family holiday in Sri Lanka and stayed again at the end before flying home. The hotel staff were friendly, rooms excellent and the breakfasts were some of the best I have ever had in a hotel. The swimming pool was great and our children really enjoyed it.

Very Average for a Hilton

Very average stay at the Hilton. The property was run down and the furnishings looked tired, kitchen was dirty and one of the cupboards was broken. We had the 3 bedroom apartment which was large on the positive side. Staff were helpful in answering our concerns but it couldn’t make up for the property unfortunately.

Great Stay with Excellent Service from R. Sabarishan

We recently stayed at the Hilton Colombo Residences and had a great experience overall, but what really made it memorable was the outstanding service from our room attendant, R. Sabarishan. He was consistently friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Our room was cleaned perfectly each day, and he paid close attention to the small details that made a real difference. Whether it was organizing our toiletries or making sure we had everything we needed, he did it with care and efficiency. Sabarishan was also very respectful of our space and always seemed to time things just right. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and it shows. We’ve stayed in many hotels, but rarely do we come across someone as dedicated and genuinely kind as Sabarishan. We really hope the management team recognises the value he brings. He deserves to be appreciated and encouraged to grow within the team. Looking forward to staying again.
