Just had an excellent stay at the Hilton Maldives Amingiri. Booked the two bdrm overwater villa for our wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. The service from end to end was flawless, exceptional, and very personable. Our amazing GEM (guest experience manager), Amine (ask for him), was truly a gem from helping us arrange our activities through WhatsApp to ensuring we had dinner reservations booked. He gave us insider tips that made our stay that much more enjoyable. I also wanted to mention our housekeeper Bakuru, who kept our room spotless; Mahesh the lifeguard who kept us safe under his watchful eye; Deepak, for his supportive sunrise/sunset yoga sessions; and DJ Dina, for bringing the energy to our lounge and dinners. Lastly, to the many buggy drivers who gave us rides to and from our villa and activities. Accommodations were truly luxurious and modern as the resort opened in 2022. Villa was super spacious, had 2.5 baths and very well appointed with infinity pool, plenty of private lounge areas, outdoor showers, and endless ocean views. Food was excellent from the breakfast buffet that suited multiple cuisines and dietary restrictions, to the well-prepared dinner options (need to make reservations). The abundant daily activities always kept you going at your own pace. Snorkeling outside your villa, spa, art studio, fitness center and classes, multiple dining options, and off atoll excursions. The pre-planning from the resort from the time we booked until we arrived really helped set the stage. Attention was given at our meals to our allergies and dietary restrictions. The only blemish was the workout instructor was a no-show for 3 of the sessions. We’re Diamond members, so we had complementary cocktails at Sip happy hour and an extra half hour at the Spa. Breakfast was already included in our rate and we already booked the 2bdrm overwater villas, so no upgrades to be had. We had a red-eye flight, so resort providing a late checkout was super convenient.
