I had high expectations for Hilton Labriz Seychelles, especially considering the price (nearly $1,000 per night). Sadly, the experience was frustrating, overpriced, and far from luxurious. 1. Rude and Unhelpful Staff Staff at the reception were consistently rude and rigid. Anytime you ask a question or need assistance, you’re met with a cold attitude and the same dismissive line: “It’s our policy.” There’s no flexibility or genuine hospitality—just indifference. 2. Exploitative and Excessive Charges Everything is overpriced—often triple what you’d pay anywhere else. They clearly take advantage of the island’s isolation and the limited options available to guests. Even something as basic as a request for ice incurs a charge. Worse, even in emergencies, the on-site clinic charges you exorbitantly for the most basic medical services. It’s a shocking lack of empathy when guests are vulnerable. 3. Manipulative Boat Transfer Timing Boat transfers are timed at 4 PM, meaning check-in doesn’t happen until around 5 PM. This wastes nearly an entire day, yet you’re still charged for a full night. It feels intentionally designed to minimize value for guests. 4. Not Worth the Price While the natural setting is undeniably beautiful, the resort falls short in service, transparency, and care. There are many places—at half the price—that provide far better service and an actual sense of hospitality. Bottom Line: Hilton Labriz Seychelles is a disappointment. It’s overpriced, inflexible, and cold in its treatment of guests. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a truly relaxing and respectful experience.

A Paradise Holiday at Hilton Labriz Resort – Simply Perfect! I traveled to the Hilton Labriz Resort at the end of April and into early May, and I can honestly say it was a paradise holiday from start to finish. Everything about this trip exceeded my expectations – the island itself is stunning, the villas are luxurious and beautifully maintained, and the staff went above and beyond in every way. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, and I have to give a special mention to Executive Head Chef Leon, who made my birthday truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to him and to all the wonderful staff who made every moment feel so special. You can really see how hard everyone is working to create a magical experience for their guests. Every detail was just perfect. I can’t wait to return to this island paradise! Thank you so much for making our holiday unforgettable!!!

Paradise Found at Hilton Labriz! We had an amazing stay at Hilton Seychelles Labriz! Got upgraded to a stunning Beachfront Villa — waking up to ocean views and lush greenery was unforgettable. Huge shoutout to Raja in F&B for his warm service, Sosthene at Portobello for an excellent dining experience, and Vishnu along with a kind lady from Kenya/Zimbabwe who were super helpful throughout. Special thanks to Saiful, our housekeeping superstar, who kept our villa spotless and even surprised us with a beautiful bubble bath! Everything from the service to the surroundings was top-notch. Can’t wait to be back!

If you are looking for a place to have a peaceful Getaway as a couple, with family or friends. This would be a good place to go. Trail walks, snorkelling, scuba diving, a piece of history about the island, spa, or just enjoying the beach. You will have a refreshing time. Also a wide choice for meals, local, Asian, European. Good food. Hospitable staff. Great memories.

The ambience is vibrant, inviting, and filled with warmth—ideal for families, couples, older guests, and younger travelers alike. 🏖️ Beachfront Luxury We stayed in two spectacular villas: Oceanfront Beach Villa (241) for 7 nights Beachfront Villa with Private Pool & Waterfall (404) for the final night Waking up to the sound and sight of the Indian Ocean just steps away from our bed was surreal. The villas are spacious, luxurious, and incredibly well-equipped—with features like outdoor showers, direct beach access, and thoughtfully designed interiors that make every moment indulgent. 🍽️ Exceptional Dining at Café Dauban The heart of our experience was the dining at Café Dauban, overlooking the Indian Ocean. The staff truly went above and beyond: Chef Leon, Simon, Rabindo, Francis (Baker) Anna and Aivaras (Restaurant Managers) Despite our vegetarian and egg-free dietary preferences, every meal was customized, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We often just mentioned our preferences, and were delighted with fresh, innovative, and delicious dishes, including eggless desserts prepared specially for us. The food was so fulfilling we barely needed lunch despite being on a half-board plan. 🌞 Activities, Wellness & Exploration 🎾 Tennis with Ashok Ashok, the tennis coach, was phenomenal—undoubtedly the best I’ve encountered across the UK and India. His engaging, methodical style ensured every session was both fun and educational. His mantra, “eyes on the ball, feet on the ground,” will stay with me forever. 🥾 Hiking with Tirtha – A True Highlight Tirtha, our hiking guide, was truly exceptional. His passion for the island, deep knowledge of the terrain, and genuine desire to connect with guests made our hikes among the most memorable parts of our trip. We explored Anse Mondon and Jardin Marron with him—each trail was unique and moderately challenging, yet he made it approachable and enjoyable. Tirtha was attentive to our comfort and energy levels, quickly adapting routes or pacing as needed. He even carried extra food and water for us, understanding we preferred to hike light. Beyond being a skilled guide, he was humble, humorous, and deeply caring. He encouraged us to explore more trails independently, rather than push for paid tours—something rare and commendable. With Tirtha, we didn’t just trek—we connected with the island on a deeper level. 🤝 World-Class Service – Jelle Jelle, the floor manager, embodies everything that defines outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth, confidence, and charm. Always present yet never intrusive, he was proactive in anticipating our needs, incredibly responsive, and made sure that every interaction was personal and memorable. He often took the time to check in with us daily, share helpful suggestions, and even made thoughtful small talk that made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. Jelle truly went above and beyond with professionalism, heart, and grace, and is a standout ambassador for Hilton’s brand of excellence. 🧘‍♀️ Wellness & More 4 complimentary yoga sessions with Natvar were peaceful and grounding. He created a calm, inclusive space perfect for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. The Eforea Spa is a sanctuary of luxury, complete with sauna, steam room, plunge pool, and jacuzzi—ideal for winding down. 🚲 More Highlights Cycling is fun and scenic with a smooth 5km route across lush surroundings. The beach is pristine with soft, white powdery sand—perfect for long barefoot walks. I averaged 25,000 steps a day, mostly on the beach! Coconut water and soft-serve ice creams are fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced. 🧹 Impeccable Housekeeping Swammy, our villa attendant, was kind, professional, and always attentive to our comfort. Every detail was taken care of effortlessly and with a smile. 🌺 Final Thoughts Our stay at Hilton Labriz was more than a holiday—it was an immersive experience of nature, luxury, wellness, and heartfelt hospitality. The staff consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and happiness. We arrived for 7 nights and extended our stay—which says it all.
