Had a wonderful stay at this place last week. Location, ambience, room and service is excellent. Had a fantastic dinner ( not too many option) at the Sky deck. The breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from. the room was clean and tidy.

This is one of the worst Hilton’s I have ever visited. As a diamond member I spend a lot of time in Hotels, specifically Hiltons and have rarely experienced anything like this hotel. I stayed in the Hyatt after this and it is night and day different. If the Hyatt rate is within 100USD of the Hilton rate I’d go with Hyatt. Starting with the positives… Housekeeping was pleasant and the housekeeping manager seemed to try hard Breakfast buffet was good and the workers there were friendly and helpful…though the Hyatt buffet was vastly superior Location — I’d take the Hyatt location over this any day, but this was fine…I had read about safety concerns working in the area but found it fine to walk near the hotel and to the city center during the daylight. Pool — It gets good sun light Nice balconies, but my view was of a main road that was noisy Horrible… The GM of this hotel runs a hotel that has no customer service skills. It is huge and confusing and when I checked in they gave me no information about how to get to the room. The food is overpriced The executive lounge is closed, despite no notation of that on the website. You get $25USD but that barely buys a drink My room had ants…the GM said it was because I had crumbs and the climate…but I had no such ants in the Hyatt. The carpet is filthy The rooms are very worn out TV was muffled I was only given a 1-hour late checkout despite being a diamond. I have minimal status with Hyatt and they let me check in 4 hours early and leave 2 hours late without even asking. The condition of this hotel is horrible…it deseperaly needs a redo…and some employees that are pleasant, but so long as the current GM is there the attitude is unlikely to change,

The pool area is amazing. Kids will love it!. There is always a buzz in the lobby area and the breakfast is great with many options. Great staff. Occassionally you may get one of the older rooms but ample parking, great service and the view can make up for it. Keep in mind its a large property so keep in that in mind if traveling with elderly or anyone who walking a while presents a challenge.
