Totally enjoyed our current stay at the Grande Villas Orlando property. Pleasantly surprised at the beautiful renovation! From the two bedroom suite to the new pool furniture / great job!

Great resort for families

This is our second time staying at this property. It’s hard to beat it for cleanliness, location, layout, and price. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, and it had been renovated compared to the room we had 1.5 years ago. The staff was friendly. You do have to get your parking pass from a concierge who offers a timeshare presentation, but I politely declined and he wasn’t pushy at all. Our suite had plenty of space for a family of 5. The two pools, bar, and mini golf are all centrally located and easily accessible. I feel like this vacation club has the right balance of amenities/activities and space. As for location, Universal is a reasonable drive one direction, and Disney stuff is a reasonable drive the other. I spend a lot of time shopping around each time we visit the area, and unless you’re looking for the perks associated with a Universal or Disney specific resort, this is a great choice for families.

Nice apartment, good service

Nice apartment, we were in block A, handy for reception turtle pool, deli and bar and if you're a smoker you can smoke in the bar area. Check in was speedy and when we got to the room I rang down to request an electric kettle, which was brought to the room within 15 minutes. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment which we find really good as you get a full kitchen, washer and dryer and a balcony. This is a nice, friendly and relaxed resort as I find the higher end resorts can sometimes be a bit stuffy, would definitely stay again.

Enjoyable stay

Grande Villas was a nice stay. We had a 1 bedroom unit. It was snalll, but we had everything we needed. Kitchen well stocked. Full sized stove and fridge. Plenty of closet and storage space. 2 tvs. Balcony, but small living room and dining area. Big bathroom with large shower, separate tiolet with door, garden tub. Bedroom with ikng bed was nice size. The highlight of the resort was the pool area. Nice music, bar, 2 good sized pools. Water was perfect, not too cold. 2 Hot tubs were great.. Nice putt putt golf area, ping pong and activity center. Not pressured too badly for timeshare presentation. We had option of using amenities of sister property across stree, but the pool was closed. I heard the have a theatre at the sister property. There was also a gym, although we did not use it. We would return to this prooerty. It is conveniently located near Disney Springs and many restaurants. Some within walking distance. The bedding for our king sized bed was plush, the staff was pleasant and the pool area was great.

Very good with one issue

The property was very nice and in a VERY good location with respect to visiting Disney properties. Our stay was in a one bedroom with a partial kitchen and it was very nice to have a full fridge and freezer that were newer but the coffee maker did not work which was slightly inconvenient. Having the pizza/grocery/deli place in the middle of the property was very nice and was good for a late night meal even if it was a little up charged. The biggest issue we had was that the shower had a pathetic water pressure where the water basically fell out of the shower head. You had to essentially use your hands to move water around because it was not going to rinse anything out of your hair without the help of your hands. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the pools were clean and the mini golf course was a fun thing to have on property for free. Overall, we’d stay again but would hope for a better shower for a week long stay next time.
