Holiday Inn Express and Suites Nassau

Regular Holiday Inn right across the road from Junkanoo Beach next to a very busy (and loud) intersection. Spent a whole week here in March (1 adult+1child). Rooms were comfy and had mini fridge and microwave which was great, so we didn’t have to eat out for lunch and supper every meal. Breakfast was better than expected- liked the overnight oats, waffles, sausages and hash browns. Water from their machine didn’t taste great but bottled water and other drinks are available for purchase and having access to free coffee, hot chocolate, etc. all day was great. Housekeeping was also great! Everything was cleaned and restocked daily. All major Nassau attractions and Super Value grocery store are within walking distance (5-25min). Only used taxi for airport and Atlantis. Small but great pool with nice loungers and across the road, there is a little beach hut with loungers just for Holiday Inn guests (first come, first serve). Between the road and music from the beach bars, it can be quite noisy. Also found that part of the beach very dirty. Staff were extremely friendly and I found the actual hotel clean. Great views especially if you go all the way up the outdoor staircase.

The staff was just amazing! Nacara is super helpful and friendly and the manager as well! The location of the hotel is perfect bec it is just in downtown and close to everything..

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I’ve received from Holiday Inn Express & Suites. I experienced an unexpected issue that significantly affected my trip, and despite reaching out multiple times, I’ve received no real support or resolution. What’s worse is that after making me wait unnecessarily, they now claim that nothing can be done because “too much time has passed.” The delay was on their side — not mine — and now they hide behind their policies instead of taking responsibility for the situation. The level of commitment is shockingly low for a brand I once trusted. There seems to be no real interest in helping guests when something goes wrong. I expected far better, especially when facing a situation that was out of my control. I do not recommend staying here if you expect any sort of support or accountability when issues arise. This experience has been deeply frustrating and has made me lose trust in the brand entirely.

The stay at the hotel was reasonable. I did however have a bad experience which I believe was facilitated by the hotel. Individuals posing as "tour representatives" hijacked my holiday experience. These persons are allowed to sit in the lobby and introduce themselves to guests upon entry. They invited me and my family to a "presentation", that turned out to be a high pressure situation to sign up for a travel rewards program. Unfortunately, the whole thing is a scam. The one we were introduced to was Endless Dreams Vacation Club. They are quick to sign you up, but make it virtually impossible to cancel. The cancellation period is 3 days, but it takes 2 weeks to introduce you to the platform. At this point, if you decide to cancel, the 3 days would have passed. I believe the hotel can do a better job of protecting its clients from these kinds of situations while on the premises.
