Official Description

The club resort Costa del Sol is situated between Benalmadena Costa and Fuengirola. Fuengirola is 5 minutes drive away with available links to the public transport network just across the road from the hotel. Málaga is 30 minutes drive away and it is 15km to its airport. This hotel is built in 2004 and has a fabulous sea view. Guests have access to gardens and a sun terrace. There are 148 apartments. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, 8 lifts and a currency exchange desk, shops, 2 bars, a games room, an à la carte restaurant, Internet access and a kids' club. Medical assistance is available. The apartments are air conditioned, with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, TV and a balcony. The rooms can accommodate up to 4 people. Will not return and my family have cancelled visit for next month

1 False sale of all inclusive, it’s really not. Pay for slushes. They take one of the cocktails off the menu daily and call it cocktail of the day and you have to pay. Pay for water. Pay for crisps pay for ice cream pay to swim indoor pool. Pay for slush puppies for the kids. No coffee or tea or milk In room so if you wake up before half 7 you have to suffer. Only coffee available in the buffet in mornings ONLY then they turn them off for lunch and dinner. Entertainment is nothing. We came for 4 nights and was lucky to see a 40 mins performance of Spanish dance then that’s it. Beds are extremely Rock hard like seriously I have not slept much at all. Most of the staff are so wonderful and lovely but you’ll find one lady at reception who wears braces so not so kind and i went to mention no coffee in the room ect an she was rude about it and seemed to take it personal. You’re suppose to get one indoor swim free per stay, they tried to charge us until I went back to reception and spoke to a man who I think was manager and he dealt with it fast and good. Two days in and a school of 160 kids Turn up so couldn’t get lunch and had to make do with the stale snack bar. food is edible but we decide to go out to eat now due to overload of kids. I booked 4 nights and 5 days and our transfer collects us at 6pm but the lady at reception (with braces ) said no we have to check out at 12 on 5th day and pay to eat or drink!!!! Me and my family will no return here ever. Holiday village was amazing when we visited. Hot drink items in bedroom for all Inclusive and ice creams. I regret trying RIO world. They advertise beach club but fail to mention it’s closed until you’ve booked it. One good thing is the outdoor areas was supposed to be to be closed until April but they opened it. Worse holiday I’ve ever gone on due to the service mainly and the fact I paid for 4 nights and 5 days but we not getting the 5th day. They tend to reply to reviews and say “we wish you came to speak to us to resolve ect” well I did and she didn’t care and sh was annoyed I dared bring this to her attention clearly.

While I agree with some reviews about the hotel needing some modernisation I have to say the food there was outstanding. We were all inclusive for 1 week, 2 adults 2 kids. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Kids club / entertainment staff were absolutely amazing. Even the room cleaning staff were fab. Left our room perfect every time they came in. I highly recommend. Location ideal between both benalmadena and fuengirola. Bus or taxi trip away albeit we did walk to fuengirola one morning. Atmosphere was quiet as it was the start of the season which we enjoyed. Amazing value for money again because it was start if season . Every where was very clean except the baby changing table in the swimming pool changing area .
