Official Description

The former HOTEL CLUB HIPICO, was a small hotel built in the 60s, in the picturesque urbanization of Cala D, Or pioneer tourist destination on the island of Mallorca, with buildings inspired by the typical Ibizan style. With the name Eques Petit Resort and completely rehabilitated in 2020, to position it as a luxury resort and strengthen the destination, the establishment reopens its doors to once again become a pioneer as a recipient of the most demanding and glamorous customers, and enjoy an experience of rest and relaxation in the center of Cala d'Or. The Resort is in a wonderful location, on a plot of almost 16,000 m2 and offers quality services among which are: beach-style pool, Mediterranean gardens and spaces such as the Mediterranean and ecological garden, ensuring absolute relaxation in a Mediterranean environment and with a careful service for each client.

A Wonderful Holiday

The location was superb, the suite had everything we needed including an oversized bed, a fridge, air conditioning, two large TVs, a fridge and a safe. Cleaning available everyday. Breakfast choice was varied with a menu to suit everyone. The whole resort was spotless. The pools beautiful and poolside beds were plentiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful if necessary.

We have been here 11 nights. We have loved our stay. Location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes away from the beautiful marina and central areas. Rooms are lovely. We are in a eques room, so larger than the basic rooms but not as flash as the suites. It's a good size for the x2 of us. Massive amazingly comfy bed. Best and quietest air-conditioning I've ever had anywhere. Super clean. The room is immaculate, but then again, the whole resort is immaculate. A tiny point to note is that there is limited storage but it's very much a first world problem and easy to work around. Helpful staff who quickly arranged more coat hangers and extra pillows when asked. Fridge in room is an eco fridge- so won't cool but of you put cool things into in they stay cool. The gardens are so well kept I'd like to give a special thank you to the gardening team. Our room had a garden with a couple of chairs which was nice to sit and relax in. Best sun loungers of anywhere I've stayed. So so so comfy and plenty of them. Always plenty available in both sun and shade and even when we did an excursion in the morning arriving back to site mid afternoon there was still sunbeds for us to choose from. Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast good quality and was included for us. Ate lunch here occasionally and that was also good. Prices are good for food and drinks. Loved loved loved this place ! Only thing that might have made it better was maybe making it adult only. Initially, only x1 or x2 very well behaved kids around but the last couple of days a family have arrived with older kids and one of those kids have whined, whinged and screamed for a good portion of the day every day. Just changes the atmosphere for everyone. A very different hotel to what I have chosen previously ( we tend to go for balcony and sea views) took a punt on this one and am very glad we did. A couple of tips. It's no more expensive to eat and drink on the marina, it's stunning so make sure you get out there and try it. We did trips to Drach caves and the island tour booked via recp through ROIG. Very busy and very touristy but worth doing. Beaches - very very packed and its not peak season yet so didn't bother.

Just Perfect!!!!

We absolutely loved our holiday, would totally recommend this hotel and Cala D’or for young families. This was our first holiday abroad as a family of 3 and it was just perfect. Such a great place to stay with a 9 month old baby. The staff were super helpful with questions before we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. Every member of staff we came across went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and get to know us…our baby has never had so much attention. The room was also perfect, spacious and had everything we needed. The terrace was fabulous for when our baby was napping (if we were lucky) and at night to eat, drink and sit out on. The food at the pool side bar was delicious as was breakfast with lots of choice and everything felt really freshly made. Everywhere was super clean and those poolside beds were really comfy as well as being ideal for a very wriggly baby. One of the best places we have ever stayed at, thank you for the memories and making our first trip away with our baby daughter one to remember. We hope to come back again at some point!! Ps. Thank you for helping my husband with my birthday surprise, the fizz and cake were both delicious 😋

Truly fabulous experience

Everything about the place screams style. The staff, from the cleaners to the Guest Manager Josh, couldn't be any more friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a suite which was fantastic.

Beautiful hotel

My husband and our 4 year old son stayed for 8 nights in June and had the most amazing holiday. The hotel is so peaceful and clean, very beautiful grounds and pool area. We stayed half board and the breakfast selection was great, fresh and tasty. My son likes pancakes for breakfast and the head chef remembered this and would make him pancakes each day even if they weren’t on the menu, little touches like this make all the difference to a holiday. We chose to have lunch instead of dinner most days as we prefer to venture out into the town for dinner. The pool bar menu was really good, the best half board food we have ever had. Drinks are reasonable price. Waitress service around the pool is lovely too, it feels like a really premium luxury hotel. The staff were amazing, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Special shout out to the manager Josh who was always fun to talk to and helpful, we had a small reservation about our room and josh was very quick to move us to a more suitable room, without hesitation. Three more staff members to mention, Nora, Iman and Carla. Such friendly and lovely young ladies, always making us feel welcome, very kind to my little boy. Iman went above and beyond to peel and cut apples for my son as he is a fussy eater! Where the hotel is so small it’s very intimate and the staff take time to get to know everyone personally. The location is so central, close to the marina, the main town, the beach. I would totally recommend this hotel to any couples, families with young children/babies, families with one child.
