Noisy road spoilt it for us

We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and had a fabulous stay so when we returned last month we could not help but compare and sadly we felt it had slipped a bit. The food is ok but not nearly as good as it was, breakfast is good, plenty of choice but all very tepid as was the evening meal. The room was clean but quite small although our bathroom was huge! There was a kettle, tea and coffee were replenished when needed, the room safe was free so you can't fault that. The staff are lovely and seem very happy in their work you can't help but like them all. Entertainment is not great some are better than others but we did have a couple of good nights there. The road outside the hotel is very noisy and very fast it hardly ever stops so sitting on your balcony is very noisy affair. All in all this is a nice hotel and you won't go far wrong if you book it.

Where do I start. Food quality is phenomenal. I've done 24 cruises and being recently to a five star Rui Palace Hotel and this was better. Plenty of variety, but the quality is there. I like the fact that it's quite a small hotel in comparison to the big huge ones so you really get to know the staff well. Honestly, they can't do enough for you. They are so courteous and friendly and always happy. They work so hard. Bedrooms are superb beds really comfortable. We had two single beds but they were larger than single beds. Shower is fantastic. Coffee and tea kettle in the room plus also a good enough hairdryer. We were in room 321 which overlook the pool. We had the sun in the mornings but was gone by 10:30. Entertainment we saw several acts. Ricky with his daughter performing was brilliant. Reasonable prices on the alcohol we would have a bottle of rosé and was only €18. Beach right opposite. €14 for two beds and a parasol. A few shops around and a great supermarket with great prices up the road. If you walk out of the hotel, turn right walk along and take your next big right turn and walk right to the end of that road takes seven minutes from the hotel there you will get everything you need from make up deodorant and lotion drinks, et cetera. Handy to have a fridge in the room. Booked again for next year already and we haven't left yet. ☀️👌 love MICKY YOLANDA PACO.

Fabulous hotel, so well maintained and spotlessly clean. Great food, always plenty to choose from. Restaurant staff are so friendly and efficient especially Jamie and Dani. The entertainment is mainly for the older crowd, if you want great drinks and a more upbeat atmosphere head to the Sky Bar. The hotel kept going through the Spanish power outage, amazing. If there’s one thing that could be improved is the reception staff although efficient, they could be friendlier.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Spotlessy clean, expertly run and the staff are brilliant. Right across the road from the beach. Breakfast is buffet style and has everything you need. The pool area is really well maintained. They have entertainment every night in the main bar.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely three night stay at Las Arenas. A beautiful hotel in a great location. The hotel is extremely clean, welcoming and bright. The staff are very friendly throughout the hotel and very thorough. The bed in our room was extremely hard and we found it uncomfortable, but the hard mattress may suit others. The breakfast buffet was great and plentiful, evening buffet wasn’t necessarily to our taste but still a great variety. Lovely pool area - although the pool is super cold at this time of year, we still enjoyed relaxing on the sun loungers. The sky bar was the best part of the stay, the most amazing views and a lovely spot to end the evening. Will definitely recommend and return here 😊
