Below Hyatt Standards – Disappointing Experience

I recently stayed at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai with the intention of reconnecting with the Hyatt experience, having been a former World of Hyatt Globalist and a long-time supporter of the brand. Unfortunately, this stay was far below expectations. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast experience. Service was extremely slow, with coffee taking around 30 minutes and an omelette delayed beyond 45 minutes despite multiple reminders. Basic buffet items were not adequately replenished, and the overall setup appeared unprepared for the number of guests. What was more concerning was the lack of floor supervision. There was no visible presence of senior staff to manage the situation or support the team, which seemed overwhelmed. Service recovery was also weak, with explanations that did not reflect ownership of the issue. Additionally, parking arrangements were unclear and inconvenient, adding to the overall frustration. This experience does not reflect the standards I associate with the Hyatt brand. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves operational planning, staffing, and guest experience.

Amazing hotel in a quiet setting surrounded by water. Attentive and courteous staff! The rooms are very clean and reaxing. Rooftop restaurant/bar, IKKA was fantastic! Highly recommended!

I stayed at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai for over 190 days in 2025, and I want to sincerely thank the entire team for making it feel like a second home. The service was consistently professional, friendly, and reliable across every department. Housekeeping: Anisur, Alina, Sharmila, Rekha, Dhan F&B – Eunoia: Samir, Arun, Morris, Santosh, Satish, Brishma, Srijana, Hazel, Dansoye, Ye, Kushan, Suray, Merlina, and Chef Leo Front Office: Iris, Yogesh, Mohanned, Shradha, Aruuke, Eaint, Roniya, Lev, Lala, Joyce, Sunil, Kieu, Said Ikka: Galilea, Tharindu, Jen, Thiri, Brang Valet: Sayed, Ranga A special thanks to the two people who gave the most excellent service I’ve experienced: Mr Randall and Ms Lilly. They consistently went above and beyond and made a real difference throughout my long stay. Highly recommended, this hotel is only as good as its people, and this team is outstanding.
