Calm and Quiet

I was in town for Megaplex and, while I didn't get to stay at their host Hyatt Regency, I still wanted to be at a Hyatt hotel and had actually never stayed at a Hyatt Place hotel before. Of course being Orlando, there were families staying for the local attractions and whatnot, but my stay was very quiet and pleasant. There were other convention attendees at the hotel but compared to what I observed at the host HyRe, things were, again, peaceful. The room was stunning and huge! I'm used to just shoving all of my bags in a corner and tucking in and out of them as needed, but I was able to unpack all of my items and put them in their respective places for my stay before storing my bags away until it was time to pack up. The kitchenette came in handy throughout the weekend if I needed to refrigerate or heat up food. I like how the TV could be turned slightly towards the bed or the couch. The only nitpick, for me, was the size of the bathroom. I know the mirror and sink were right outside the bathroom door but the area with the toilet and shower felt cramped to me. It's not a deal breaker. Staff were lovely and accommodating throughout my entire stay. I'll be visiting again for next year's convention and should I miss out on the HyRe room block, I'll be reserving a spot here at HyPlace again.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel while attending a conference this past weekend. The staff was very polite and helpful throughout my visit. My room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the atmosphere made me feel welcome.

Not the best experience

0/10. The trip to this hotel was not a great one. Firstly we had two different totals when. checking in. There are limited options in their pantry area. Pool gets crowded with kids. We were told that we would receive our room deductible back and have yet to receive the funds. Very slow elevator. If you ask to speak to the manager the front desk agents would not budge, they think that they can figure your issues which did not get resolved.
