Recent stay at Hyatt

Our stay at Hyatt was short, but truly exceptional from start to finish. Right at check-in, we were warmly welcomed, and to our surprise and delight, the lady at the front desk upgraded us to a suite in honor of my fiancée’s birthday the following day. She also ensured it was a smoking room, as per our preference. This thoughtful gesture immediately made us feel valued and set a wonderful tone for the rest of our stay. The next morning at breakfast, Geeta and Lakpa went above and beyond to take care of us. They were extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely warm in their service. Their kind gesture of surprising us with a birthday cake for my fiancée made the moment even more special and memorable. A big thank you to Geeta, Lakpa, and the entire team at Hyatt for making our experience so special. We truly felt taken care of, and because of this, Hyatt has now become our favorite place for a staycation. We look forward to returning soon!

The air freshener was over powering.

We only stayed for 6 hours before our 1 AM flight. Check in was smooth. The restaurant seemed to open early to serve us dinner since the staff wasn't actively serving. Anyone else. Then it became complicated. After we asked for ice to be sent to our room, our server told us we could go back to the room..a short time later a knock on the door asked for our credit card to pay for dinner. This was in spite of providing our room number at the time of ordering. I objected and asked that it be out on the room. He went away and a few minutes later was back asking me to sign for the meal which I did..then about 1/2 hour later, he was back again to being our globalist fruit plate. At that point, I was already in bed. I don't care if he saw me in my underwear. At checkout, we were told that charges to the room couldn't be added and they needed the credit card, again. Okay that works for me..Why did I have to go through all of that when we were told to go back to the room after dinner without being presented with a bill? Other than the F&B episode, the air freshener was way over powering. I should have gone back and asked for another room.

The hotel is one of the best ones in Dubai, in terms of hospitality, value, and location. The staff are generally friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is located in the heart of Dubai, where all the amenities are available.
