Official Description

Arrive to the long dramatic illuminated lobby at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui with a fresh breeze flowing through and natrual sun and moonlight coming through. Walking along this fresh lobby walkway, will take you all the way to the the oceans edge for the perfect frame for your first vacation photo. The resort is built around the YangNa Trees (protected trees in thailand) and coconut trees, famous to Koh Samui. The hotel grounds has over 600 trees on our 8 acres, the hotel design based on the hotel being a gallery within the protected forest allowing guests many places to sit, rest, look out to the ocean, walk within tropical and garden flower beds and of course celebrate. The hotel has 140 rooms, including a regency club, 17 suites and 7 pool villas. Each of the villas are at the beach and seaside edge and have large expansive deck areas. The Presidential Villa is the largest and most luxurious of all. The hotel has a signature grill restaurant and bar by the beach, market cafe our ADD, market grab and go, Lobby Bar social space and a Spa of 5 treatments rooms (2 are double suites). The hotel has event space of 190sqm allowing sit down western dinners of 100pax, cocktails for 150, and we welcome events outdoors, beach and other locations of our hotel.

Great Hotel-not a great beach

The hotel was great. Nice rooms, clean, friendly staff, & lots of food options. The hotel has many steps and or ramps so it is not easy to travel back and forth from beach/pool to rooms. The pool area did get quite crowded. I had to wait for a chair by the pool a couple of times. Maybe it was super busy when I was there. The beach is not ideal for swimming. We commuted to another beach each day or went on a tour. The hotel was very helpful with planning day trips and the two trips we went on were fantastic! Overall, it was a beautiful place, great staff, clean, had great food and super easy to grab a taxi to get around the island.

Julia at the front desk was the best, bull all the staff in general were professional. Rooms were clean and the business center was managed perfectly to accommodate our corporate offsite. Only thing I’d change, they don’t let you get takeaway coffee.

Family friendly accommodation complete with fun and convenient amenities, including beach activities like kayaking, and is away from the noise. Hotel is very near to the airport but may be a little far from the city Center. However, the hotel staff is kind enough to help you book transport to city Center which is only like 10 mins drive away from the hotel. 10/10 would recommend!

Fabulous Hyatt Regency

We are on our last day here, having stayed for 14 nights from the UK. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The property is beautiful, with stunning pools and gardens. The food at all restaurants is good, well presented and tasty, as are drinks and cocktails . We had lounge access which is superb, with beautiful food, a decent range of drinks and wonderful staff. We weee lucky to be able to upgrade to a villa for the final four days of our stay and this was also beautiful. Management are visible at the resort and always friendly, stopping for a chat to see how your day has been. The staff set this hotel a class above most others . Every single member of staff is a credit to the hotel , from the gardeners , pool staff and f and b staff, to the management , who must be so proud. We are already planning when we can return !!!!! Thank you for a superb, family holiday.

Amazing stay

This was our 2nd stay at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui. Like last time, the stay was simply amazing. From the welcome to check-out, the staff went the extra mile to keep us comfortable. At every step, the hospitality left us speechless and in full appreciation. Food at both restaurants is amazing. Breakfast has a decent spread. The restaurant staff makes sure that they prepare food suiting your palette. Great care is taken to serve fresh food. Room is very spacious. Has a comfortable bed and a nice cozy sit-out in the balcony which itself was big enough to host 4-5 people comfortably. We loved every minute of our stay. We have vowed to go back again.
