Official Description

Arrive to the long dramatic illuminated lobby at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui with a fresh breeze flowing through and natrual sun and moonlight coming through. Walking along this fresh lobby walkway, will take you all the way to the the oceans edge for the perfect frame for your first vacation photo. The resort is built around the YangNa Trees (protected trees in thailand) and coconut trees, famous to Koh Samui. The hotel grounds has over 600 trees on our 8 acres, the hotel design based on the hotel being a gallery within the protected forest allowing guests many places to sit, rest, look out to the ocean, walk within tropical and garden flower beds and of course celebrate. The hotel has 140 rooms, including a regency club, 17 suites and 7 pool villas. Each of the villas are at the beach and seaside edge and have large expansive deck areas. The Presidential Villa is the largest and most luxurious of all. The hotel has a signature grill restaurant and bar by the beach, market cafe our ADD, market grab and go, Lobby Bar social space and a Spa of 5 treatments rooms (2 are double suites). The hotel has event space of 190sqm allowing sit down western dinners of 100pax, cocktails for 150, and we welcome events outdoors, beach and other locations of our hotel.

Wow! What a great experience! First of all, every staff member is so friendly and warm. Every corner you turn you are greeted by a smile and a friendly greeting. Genuine and so kind! Gale in the Regency Club was especially warm and welcoming from our arrival, onward. The pool team, front desk, F&B teams all deserve a thank you from us for making such a memorable trip. The room was modern and clean - loved the shower and loved the A/C handling the climate. Moments we had in our balcony viewing the ocean were special. The beach was our favorite spot - catching nice breezes and sipping a refreshing smoothie was the best way to spend an afternoon. The gym was well equipped for a quick workout. Pools were great - and I have to give a shoutout to the attendant assigned to the adult pool…he was committed to politely reminding those with kids wandering into the pool that the area was designated for adults. This is something you rarely see, as most resort staff at other places are too shy or don’t bother to advise those guests and protect the peaceful area as intended. It’s tricky, but he did a great job and those of us who seek that peaceful little space appreciate it. We arranged airport transport and it was a breeze to get to USM…but we hated to leave and can’t wait to come back and stay longer! Thank you Hyatt for a great trip!

Beautiful pre.ise with a wonderful staff

I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my retirement. As soon as we got there, my daughter proceeded to get sick. No. It was not from anything she ate at the hotel as she flew in that evening and proceeded to get sick without consuming anything from the hotel. When she continues to throw up, I called the front desk and the hotel helped me have a private doctor over. Then everyone in the hotel continued to check on her as she was holed up in the hotel room, letting it run uts course. Thank you for all your assistance, Hyatt Regency Koh Samui! I would have been very overwhelmed if not for all the support from your whole staff.

Amazing!! The best hotel in Koh Samui. The staff is incredible and the villa was wonderful. They were so helpful with my food allergies and everything else I needed. Top-notch hotel services. I highly recommend it! We didn't want to leave, haha.

This hotel was incredible and exceeded our wildest dreams. First of all, it is right on the beach (note it’s not the white sandy clear water you might be expecting) and every aspect of the hotel is beautiful from the hammocks in the palm trees to the foliage and flowers. You can hear the birds singing. It’s quiet for sleeping though. The rooms are gorgeous and generously sized, with lots of light and big showers and huge beds. The restaurants were both really great and provided good atmosphere. We visited the spa twice and had wonderful treatments. Most importantly, every staff person we interacted with was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and requests. My friend even got a surprise birthday cake with candles on her birthday despite not telling them it was her birthday. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Definitely recommend!
