An experience I long to live again

From the moment I set foot in the Hyatt Hotel, I knew I was about to experience something extraordinary. Every detail—from the spotless cleanliness to the outstanding customer service—was simply spectacular. I want to give special recognition to José, the bell boy, who welcomed me with a genuine smile and made sure everything was perfect with my luggage and check-in. His kindness and attentiveness made a big difference in my first impression of the hotel. I also want to highlight Luis from the lobby bar, whose service was truly exceptional. Each cocktail was crafted to perfection and accompanied by friendly, genuine conversation. He made me feel right at home from the very first toast. Thank you to the entire Hyatt team for making my stay truly unforgettable. I will definitely be back!

Best vacation

The hotel exceeded all expectations my fiance and I had. From the second our taxi pulled up we felt at home. The staff is incredible, especially Cristian who went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing, the rooms stunning, and the whole property is so clean. You can really see everyone there takes pride in their job and the resort itself. We will 100% be going back!

The people and staff make the difference

The waters were clear and blue, hotel was very nice and had a lot of options of restaurants to choose from. However, we did spend most of the time eating on the Zira side as it appealed to us more. The most memorable were the staff at the hotel. They all were so helpful, friendly, and they became friends. One person stands out, a bartender at The Waves restaurant. We met Ezequiel our 2nd night there and we ended up making sure we always had our evening wine with our friend. He went out of his way to provide us what we wanted, had great conversation, and shared a few laughs. Never got a picture dang it, but he did stay late one night and lucky we were able to say goodbye. Great experience, and a really great person. Kudos to Manager Patricio for having such engaging and wonderful employees.

Expensive, and you need (want to) to upgrade to Club for a better experience.

Expensive ... and a few part of this are worth it if you upgrade to Club Class room. Out of dozens of restaurants & bars, a few are quite good (if in Club). Many of staff are super nice, but we regularly had problems (ask for something, it is repeated back to you, then something different arrives or not at all). This got to the point that we were laughing (to each other) about it. And the staff is so nice we did not have the heart to burn someone to management. If you like using the gym then you should love this one. We noticed there were several weddings over our 9 day stay (the resort is large enough this does not interfere with you, just saying it is a popular wedding destination). We cruise a lot and Hyatt did not clear the hurdle to replace that. All that said, if you love on-land all-inclusive, then you should at least check into this one.

Best time I ever had

The staff was sincerely warm to us right from the start. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and great HVAC. The people working at the Deja Brew coffee kiosk were great and so was the hot coffee they made fresh. We really enjoyed hanging at the Las Mareas pool/bar area where we met our favorite employee Berenice. She was so nice, hard working, and always smiling and would let me practice my Spanish with her. We were sad to say goodbye to her! The free shows were uplifting and fun to do. There were so many great people that it seems unfair to spotlight so few but those who really stood out were as follows; the restaurant server Melvyn, Manuel the activities specialist, everyone at Deja Brew, Jean the night time manager at the El Mercado buffet who would take time to address his guests one on one, the bartenders Roberto and Juan at Las Mareas, and Berenice who always brought joy with her smile and great service. It’s safe to say that this was the best experience I ever had. I hope to return one day and see everyone again.
