Fantastic hotel with an exceptional team

I felt that I had to write this review even though still here. On arrival very efficient check in including details about hotel. Very happy with room and facilities. Food quality is excellent but the reason for writing the review early is that I want to praise every member of staff who work here. My mum had a fall whilst here and although it changed how this holiday has gone it has been made much more possible to continue getting around and attending to all her needs due to the excellent team here. After spending the night in the emergency department I asked at reception if i could hire a wheelchair anywhere. Within a very short period of time the team produced one and we have been able to use for the duration of our stay. Without this my mum would have had to stay in the room for the rest of the holiday. Everything I have asked for assistance with has been undertaken with a smile and we have never felt like a burden. All the team have continually asked how my mum is and offered support. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning next year to fulfil what we couldn't achieve this year. Thank you Lakinthos Tsivili Beach Team.

Fabulous Hotel

We've just returned from a wonderful week at the Iakinthos hotel. We had a family room which was spacious and two bathrooms was a bonus. The showers are super hot and powerful although do flood the floor a bit! The half board option worked well for us although the dining room was a bit chilly for the first few days. You get so much food at dinner, the kids menu is great, with large enough portions for a teenager. We thought the food was great. The heated pool was still a bit cold in April but we did swim most days. The relaxed atmosphere at the hotel was exactly what we were looking for and the location is fantastic right on the beach. The terrace is lovely for having lunch overlooking the sea. The staff are amazing, so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We would definitely return although maybe a little later in the year. Worth noting that NOTHING is open in the first week of April in the resort. A couple of restaurants and bars had opened by the weekend of 11th but before that there are literally no options for dinner/drinks etc. The Spar is open though and that has pretty much everything you might want for lunch and a large section of drinks!

Wonderful staff! Manos really impressed us with his brilliant personality and his service was next to none! Such a friendly and kind young man! He told us so much about Zakynthos and Athens for our city break next year! Emma was so friendly and recommended the icecreams to us straight away! Our whole family had one and wow! Best decision ever!

What a little gem of a hotel

This hotel is such a little gem. Right in the beachfront, it is small, friendly and the staff are so helpful! We had a side sea view overlooking the beach club but as we went in October it had closed for the season so not sure how busy/noisy it would be in the height of the season. The room was a good size with both a kettle and coffee machine. Plenty of wardrobe space, perhaps the dressing table could have done with a few extra drawers, but for us no big issue. I agree with previous comments about the bathroom needing an update, our bathroom was a bit snug, but it did the job. Good choice for breakfast, we have been to other places where breakfast was a vast array, but again it was adequate. Lunch/snack menu, the portions are HUGE. After the first day we shared a dish! The hotel is right in the beachfront with a few loungers but at the time of year we went the pool area was sufficient. It’s a 5 minute walk to the main shops/bars/restaurants with plenty to choose from. We only ventured out a couple of times as the hotel provided what we were after - a relaxing chilled break. The hotel is very clean, and all staff were simply amazing. This really is a gem of a hotel, and if you are a couple just wanting a relaxing break I can highly recommend the Iakinthos Hotel 😊
