Iberostar Grand Salome adults-nly

We booked this hotel last minute after a cancelled flight, we stayed just for one night. When we arrived I just said to myself “wow”. This is such a fabulous hotel, clean, welcoming. Staff and service are great. The only negative for me was that our stay wasn’t for longer. We had originally booked this hotel for our 8 night stay, but last minute we changed it to Iberostar Sabila, but this hotel definitely has higher standards than Sabila, even though they are both 5*. I would highly recommend and the suites are big, comfortable and cosy.

We made the perfect choice to spend our 35th anniversary at this amazing hotel and if you are looking for a quiet, adults only break where you will be spoilt by every member of staff then you should book. The suites are spacious and kept spotless, the food is excellent with a choice of a la carte restaurants and there is a very good buffet restaurant in the sister hotel next door. Our favourite was Poseidon where we celebrated our anniversary. Thank you Mossi for making it special. We were unsure of the menu at first but we were challenged to try new flavours and loved it. We made the choice to book all inclusive and were not disappointed, everything is included except for champagne and a few bottles of the very expensive wines. We would like to say thank you to all of the Butler team who looked after us especially Francisco for recommending and booking Poseidon for our anniversary and for Daniel who helped us move rooms. We ate breakfast in the a la carte Mirador every day where again the service was impeccable. Special mention to the lovely Janeth who seemed to be there every day and looked after us very well at breakfast and also whenever we were in the Lagarto restaurant for lunch or just a cup of tea. She is a true credit to the Iberostar brand. Also thank you to Nereida and Vicky but also Manuel who always greeted us with a smile and kind words wherever he was working. The atmosphere at the hotel feels so cheerful, just what you need on holiday, made possible by all of the staff. It is no wonder many of the guests are returners. Hopefully we will be back.

Visited with my daughter for our annual trip away together and Salome didn’t disappoint. We were met by the lovely Raquel on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for her, Francisco and Daniel - Francisco even welcomed us for breakfast in Welsh which was definitely a first for us whilst travelling 👏 The facilities, food and service from all staff members was exceptional. We were all inclusive and tried all restaurants with our favourite being Portofino although we loved the setting for Sea Soul as it is situated on the promenade so great for people watching. We also took part in the craft jewellery class which was amazing. Well done to the all the staff at Salome - you made it a great holiday and we can’t wait to return again soon x

We went here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The Salome is part of the bigger Iberostar Anthelia but is its own separate/exclusive area (with two pools and bar/lunch restaurant - you also get access to to exclusive breakfast area) . There are only about 30 rooms and the pool area never felt crowded. It’s a very quiet/relaxing area. The rooms are really spacious and clean with nice balcony areas (all rooms with sea view) Location wise was a big reason why we picked this hotel - really really close to other bars/restaurants, but doesn’t feel rowdy/loud at all (but the options there to go out late if that’s what you want) Staff are all incredible - nothing is too much trouble. Food and drink is also a massive highlight - we actually didn’t visit the main buffett at all as wanted to make the most of the a la carte options. All three dinner options are good but our personal favourite was Portofino. Our only bit of feedback really is that for lunch in Lagarto the portions were huge and we struggled to finish (but sure others wouldn’t be bothered by this!) Overall would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed
