Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo

I hope I can remember all the details I wanted to write for this review. Our 5 night six day stay- a family of 12 ages 13 to 67- was truly a great trip. We travel annual together- my mom, my brother's family, and mine- and I would say that this was the best trip we've taken together. Everything is included... no one has to decide and there is something for everyone. This is my family of 4 second time at the Lindo 2023 and again 2025- and it was just as good as we remembered. The Lindo is perfect. Clean, pretty, space in rooms is great. Who stays in their room anyway in a beautiful place. We have stayed in building 53 and 55. We had a family suite (2 rooms with adjoining door) and it was perfect for the five of us. We thought both were fine in location from all the amenities we needed. You do have to walk but that just means you can have more ice cream! This is my second time and I still haven't seen the entire complex- sure there's a tour for that I missed! We are pool people and the pools are AMAZING! We used both pools- the main pool and the del mar/beach pool. Both were great. Yeah, people get up early to get chairs, so we did too, but there were always chairs. Didn't cause any issues for us. Lots of beach chairs too we just like the pools more. The ocean is a perfect background. The entertainment Star team is great. We chose to do almost all crazy pool games, went on stage for the pre-show, and did different exercise classes including yoga and water aerobics. Again- so much to choose to do! The star team goes out of their way to keep you entertained. One young man called me by name everytime he saw me. Night shows- the magic show, the light show, the circus, the fire show- all of them were good. The food was good. We love food but our tastes are limited- when you have meatloaf at someone else's house, it tastes different- you just have to know that. So we try things we don't have everyday at home and it was good. Under the Sea- thanks Jeremias and La Geisha- thanks Generdo get our top votes! Greek and Italian were very good too. And, you simply cant beat the omletes in the morning. So, reservations are still a bit confusing but I just went to the concierge at building 51/52 the first morning and Richardo helped us out. Here are a few more just extras- At no time do we feel unsafe. The employees have our backs without us even knowing it!🤩 Our room was nice and cool all the time!🥶 Our belongings were completely safe- even on chairs by the pool.🙄 Take your own refillable water bottles.🥤 Floats are nice to have if you have room in your suit case. 🧜‍♀️ Almost all vacationers are nice- so good to see.🥰 We do tip and try to tip good considering what we tip in the USA.🤑 My 18 year old son loved the night club- a little too much! 🙃 Beautiful beautiful tropical surroundings. 🏖 We worked with Amstar and apple vacations and shuttles were timely and room was ample for 12. The only question I wonder about is the environmental tax. Not even so much because the resort but we had to pay it- in cash- per person- for an excursion too???🤔 $420 extra for 12 people on a 5 hour excursion??? Darn... that's a tax. I recommend this resort especially for families. Id love to think we will be back but life is short and there are lots of places to see... but I will consider iberostar when planning the next adventure.
