Idas Hotel

First thing as we arrived there was no food or drink available at all not even some fruit or a cup or tea or anything so we went to our room where the creepy porter who will stand in your room Untill you would give him a tip showed us our room with “lovely views of the sea” ( you could not see the sea at all ) the beds where okay not very comfy gave us back ache we also got to our room and had no sheets on the bed and as was after all staff had gone home no one would really help us as the receptionist at night is so stupid he was not helpful .After this upon waking up breakfast was alright normal holiday food except it was all cold and this was for every breakfast , lunch and dinner if you ask why it’s cold they say to put it in this mouldy microwave that they had which was absolutely disgusting and I don’t think had been even cleaned .As well as this if anything ran out so breakfast started at 7 and they run out of bread or beans or any item on the menu that day at 7:30 you will go without as they never re stocked any of the food other then the cold chips they would put out . While talking about the food in the middle of the food I was eating I nearly choked on a chicken bone only small but still dangerous ( see in picture above ) . If the food did run out the staff wouldn’t miss out as lots of them would get massive plates full of food before the customers had been to get a look so we pay and we get nothing doesn’t sound right to me . Now onto the bar , only 6 drinks available including wine , beer , vodka , plain gin and 2 cocktails that were not very nice and very very strong so couldn’t hardly drink them . As well as not having many drinks available they are also warm just to make it even better as there pump has run out for all soft drinks they would have bottles but even if no one is waiting to order they would leave the bottles on the side and have warm and flat drinks which most the time they wouldnt put ice in . When booking this hotel we where told there was an indoor pool which as you can see in pictures above is empty so can’t do a lot of swimming in that , as well as there there was only 1 lady in the spa who was very very rude and even if we wanted a massage which we did there was 6 of us with one lady we would have been there 6 hours or more while she did all of us , we went down the road for a massage it was lovely compared to the spa in the hotel . We were also told there would be entertainment but there was nothing they have about 10 songs on a playlist that they play every day on and off through the day and night but as soon as it lunch time or when the bar closes at dead on 11 they would turn all lights off and all music off so you sit outside and finish you drink in the dark , other then that there is no entertainment what so ever the staff are boring and rude and look very moody all the time , as there was no entertainment I would try and entertain ourself so we bought some cards and games to play in the evening with some drinks and if you where sitting inside as I found it a little to cold outside they would turn off the lights for litterly no reason if we asked for them back on they would ask for a gift even if one had been given previously , they did not turn the lights back on . Hotel is so dangerous as they would mop the very slippery tiles and even if you where eating in the restaurant as seen in picture above , my mum was actually just walking to the only bar there is and they had mopped the only entrance and she didn’t know and slipped over and has bruised her knees very badly so will be going to the doctors when home as in a lot of pain . The toilets were outside with massive air con units that also made the floor wet 24/7 so was always slippery as you can see in picture above . Both the bar and toilet are outside with no shelter above the entrance to them so when raining it’s a death trap walking over the stupid flooring to get anything even if you just need the toilet as you can see on picture above . As well as all that problems with the toilet they also had two cubical in there one where the light turned off every 2 seconds and couldn’t see or the other that didn’t have toilet roll for over 3 days . Just to add to this ever growing list of reasons not to come to this hotel about 4 days into our stay our noisy neighbours finally left which we where very happy about , but after that they stopped the wrong key from working and 4 times I had to go up and down to be able to get a key to get into my room as they kept giving me a new one and once I got up it didn’t work after the 4th time I made the man walk up with me and open the door with the master card as we needed to get in the room and was getting pissed off . I would never recommend this hotel even to people I hate as I don’t think I can really say one good thing about it as I could keep going on forever as well as :no straws ( they ran out on day 2 for a couple days ) , no hot chocolate, no English tea , they leave the milk on side to curdle , cold food , dirty , staff do bare minimum or just stand around on phone , they don’t even had a kitchen in this hotel they walk it across from the other side of the road and Somtimes not even covered up , if dinner finishes at 9 at 8:45 most would be packed away and gone . Don’t come here it’s not worth the money .

One of the worst holidays I have had. Food pathetic and ran out at least an hour before "restaurant" , not good for a diabetic. Ended up eating out so I could at least manage my condition. The first night the food ran out and I went to reception and "Charlie" who pretended to be the owner said as they were in the process of opening their other hotel next to them they were under pressure and food had to be brought across the road from there. I told him I was having a hypo and even showed him my machine that showed I was near to a coma. He just shrugged. Another guest rushed out to a shop and bought me some thing to eat. "Charlie" was not bothered to help. I asked to see someone who could help. I asked to speak to the Jet2 rep and he said he would arrange it with "his" managers for 10am the next day. The next day he left at 9AM. Reception said he had not spoken to him and he was the "Night Porter!" I caught the Jet2 rep later that day and he said he had not been told anything.He informed me that if I did not drop it I would be thrown out of the hotel. They even made me sign a letter to that effect. My problems consisted of a couple of guests smoking drugs an molesting a couple of women while the bar staff just laughed. One guest that said he came every year said it was the norm and no big deal. The surrounding views whilst sitting by the pool were disgusting. See photos. Avoid this Hotel from Hell. Do not trust Jet2 who sent me a letter saying they did not believe me without any explanation and obviously noe due diligence. Use this hotel OR Jet2 at your peril. You have been warned.Jet2 not fit for purpose and only want your money.

This hotel is amazing food lush always something to eat.. salads amazing , bread to die for.. staff are lovely.. pool was freezing but to be expected.. and no towels provided so buy some cheap nearby..but heard they are going to get it heated for next year.. the hotel is very central loads of shops nearby.. umbrella st literally around the corner. Beach is lovely to.. rooms are enough tbh but wardrobe space isn't big enough.. but hey ho.. We had a bad experience at the airport with my husband but it didn't stop us enjoying.. The place was shutting down but cater to top standard.. the shops nearby were practically giving goods away.. We did the turtle trip.. long long day and no turtles lots of on off boats to different places.. We are looking to go back already.. so start booking and get packing Drinks were good.. but no rum . Cleaners every day and water provided.. Lovely weather this time of year also

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on the 7th October for 10 nights we visit Turkey twice a year but this was our 1st time staying in this hotel and certainly won't be our last we are comeing again next year. The hotel is lovely and clean all the staff are friendly and take time to get to know there guests room is spacious and cleaners vist daily and do a fantastic job baled water left daily fresh towels bedding changed the food was lovely we always found something to eat the shepards pie and vindaloo chicken curry being my favourite the desserts were yummy too drinks we found great for a all inclusive ask the friendly bar lad to do do you a vodka raki and coke tastes like the black jack 🍠 but blows your head off haha. Great location 2mins walk to dolphin Square were there is plenty of restaurants and bars we visited the three bells every morning for a English breakfast for only 5 pound which included a orange juice we met some lovely people during our stay so thank you so much idas hotel and all the staff that work so hard for giveing us one of our best holidays yet see yous all again next October love Karen and mark 😊

Lovely friendly hotel, no sunbed wars, lovely spacious rooms cleaned everyday, good choice of food even thoigh lot chicken dishes, only small isdue the food could do with being warmer. Staff was very helpful snd friendly nothing tomuch troubl defo be going back to the hotel.
