Please reconsider before booking here and do trust the low star reviews. Sadly this is not a 5* hotel, the images it may appear so but it certainly is not. Pros - Rooms are well decorated and the maid did clean our room daily. Reception team are helpful and support where they can. Bar staff - Do not really talk with you but work as fast as they can and appear to be non stop day through to night. Cons - Food is awful - I was close to food poisoning one evening. I reported this to a waiter who pulled it apart in front of me, laughed and says “you don’t like… ha” to then throw the food in the trolley bin and feel that’s ok. I took a photo of the waiter from behind so I could report who it was, only for him to then be fuming about this also. I reported the incident to guest relations who did apologise and offered to book us into the à la carte for the next 2 evenings, but sadly I didn’t want to risk it. After any meal I had, it was a trip to the bathroom very quickly after. Food Choice - My daughter can be a bit hit and miss with new foods but seriously struggled during the stay. Even fruit is limited to around 3 types. On one occasion she wanted her favourites which is strawberries - The pool restaurant was doing waffles, with strawberries, cream and chocolate sauce. I kindly asked if we could just have a small side plate of just strawberries and was refused… the hotel was 1/3 full at best due to going mid October and there clearly was not a big demand for the food, but we were still refused. After much back and forth, we finally got some strawberries, only by ordering 3 waffles without the drizzle, so my daughter could snack those off and sadly us to then commit to food waste by having to throw the waffles away…. What a complete waste? Chicken kebab, small and went back for another to just be given a few small slices without even a wrap…. As if I’ve had 1 and 2 isn’t allowed? Other mealtimes, it’s sadly not a fancy Turkish dine… very much all bland, yes as others say it’s cold and when it’s run out it’s run out…. Breakfast, no bread left with over 30mins left? I ended up meeting Harry who is a family member of the Casablanca restaurant in Kusadasi, we ended up dining here every evening after and venturing to other restaurants for a better breakfast in the mornings - thankfully these hosts left a good impression on mine and my daughters time away together. Poolside - If you want to risk breaking a bone or 2, no problem, the tiles are beyond slippery, as is the painted floor around the aqua park area. I think it was near 10 times in 5 days for the 2 of us where we nearly landed on our backs… this was just from walking too…. Not running. Beds - A thin blanket cover instead of a duvet or anything warm. Entertainment Team - Clearly do not enjoy working with Brits as they do not approach or even speak to you. On a rainy day, the music poolside was not even on, no games or anything to be done. The entertainment teams hired in do put on a good show I’ll give them that… but they’re not part of the hotel…….. I could go on and on but hopefully this is enough to make anyone reconsider booking. 2 star hotel at best. I’ve travelled to over 30 countries, stayed in dozens of all inclusive hotels and sadly this is the 1st and only 1 that I can safely say I will never go back to. Turkey itself is lovely, as is Kusadasi. But stay somewhere else!
