Family run hotel great food fabulous staff, located by the beach. Always do bed and breakfast selection of breakfast is exceptional. Cava available at the weekend nothing is a problem if you want an omelette made to order not a problem hot food cold food lots of fresh bread,coffee

We had an excellent stay here. The hotel is wonderfully located right on the beach with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The staff were very kind and helpful and our Seaview rooms delightful 😊 I would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again ,thank you Hotel Isabel!!

Had a lovely week at Hotel Isabel. We had a one bedroom side balcony room - spacious bathroom with plenty hot water, fridge & kettle in room and nice spacious balcony with chairs. Only negative is the beds were extremely hard and neither of us slept well. We booked room only but did eat at the pool bar & had really good lunches there - caesar salad was excellent. Pool area is small & it is worth noting that after 5pm (in october) only the 8 or so sunbeds directly around the pool get sun after that time. Hotel is very well situated in Torremolinos with lots of restaurants & bars around.

We have just returned from a long weekend stay for 2 friends here. I was pretty certain I had booked a twin, but we got a double, so not sure if that was an agent or hotel thing, anyway the bed was big enough for us to stay away from one another. On check in, we had a particularly deadpan English guy on reception, there was no friendly smiles or banter or " Welcome to Spain" he just asked for passports, I tried to be jovial and asked jokingly " have we got a good room ?" His response was matter of fact and he responded " You have got the room you booked, a sideview room" - very blunt, obviously we were not expecting a cabaret, but a small smile to show we were not incoveniencing him would have been sufficient. He did not ask if we had stayed before, did not point out where the pool or the bar is etc, its a small hotel so we thankfully worked it out for ourselves, no thanks to him. We tried to avoid seeing him the next day due to this frosty reception, but we thought we'd ask for bigger mugs for the room, as the cups were espresso sized - his response was " we do not have any other cups in the hotel, sometimes guests go and buy their own mugs " We shouldn't have expected anything else really :-D Anyway we decided he was just unhappy in his job and an outright liar - so later on in the bar, fuelled by a couple of drinks, we asked the very lovely Maria - who immediately walked off and came back with a couple of bigger mugs for us, just telling us they had these as they used to use them at breakfast. Thats all it took! Maria was lovely and kept us laughing in the bar in the evening, she was so helpful and chatty, it was nice change! We didnt really hang around the hotel during the day as we were out, so cant comment on the pool area, but it looked ok from what we saw. The room was spacious, the water in the shower hot, room cleaned every day, typically spanish and did the job for us, grateful for the kettle, we didnt hear anything from the other rooms and slept fine. Had breakfast at Posiden over the road on the beach, good value and lovely food - nor more than 16euro for both of us, rather than the 15 each they wanted at the hotel , so we cannot comment on the hotel food either. Would go again, even if it was to tell the miserable man on reception to smile.
