Staff were great but villas are run down and need money spent on it

The staff were amazing but the villas are run down. Pool in our villa needs complete retiring as bottom of pool had heaps of lose tiles, walls were grubby in villas, we had mice in out kitchen. Money needs to be spent to bring them back up standard.

Location is good , room is spacious but couldn’t, but the in-room jacuzzi has a lot of debris and dirts coming out, engineers came 4 times but couldn’t fix it, said it’s the problem with the plumbing, Villa was very inflexible and refused to offer any room rate reduction as compensation even knowing that we booked the villa was because of the jacuzzi.

Roof fell on us

We booked two 2-bedroom villas and a one-bedroom suite with a jetted tub, and the experience was downright terrible. The property is old and riddled with issues. The roof leaks, water doesn't come in the taps unless you complain multiple times, and the gate is nearly impossible to lock or unlock because the key won’t turn. The bathroom jacuzzi? Completely useless because the water doesn't drain. Upon checking in, we had to complain just to get the RO water filled. Despite reaching the villas around 11 AM, the first room was only ready at 2 PM, and the last one wasn’t handed over until 2:40 PM. Unacceptable. The worst part? One evening, the foyer roof collapsed, leaving a gaping hole of 5x5 feet. This was incredibly dangerous, especially since we have a 6-year-old child. This facility is falling apart and clearly needs a complete overhaul, but it’s obvious the owner isn't investing enough in maintenance.

Great location closer to Seminyak Beach to experience Bali hospitality. Very clean and well maintained Private Villas. Breakfast was amazing and nice Private Pool in our own Villa. Welcoming and kind staff. Excellent service with utmost care.

Our visit to Bali would not have been complete without spending a few days in Seminyak and at Kanishka Villas. Having stayed and enjoyed this property on previous visits we were hoping that it would be still as good as we remembered. And we weren't disappointed. Actually there were some positive upgrades and improvements. The personal choice was a 1 bedroom pool villa. Spacious, clean and comfortable with all the amenities necessary to enable in-room dining and just lazing by the pool if staying in was preferred. Though the hotel's restaurant has a nice selection of quality food and drinks. However, a prime reason for staying at Kanishka is its convenience to the great variety of shopping, dining and entertainment in the Seminyak area. Apart from being extremely courteous, the staff were very helpful with their recommendations on places to visit. A most enjoyable stay !
