Kassandra Bay Resort

From the moment we arrived at Kassandra Bay, we felt completely looked after. As soon as we stepped out of the taxi, the staff were waiting to greet us warmly and immediately took charge of our luggage, which was such a relief after a long journey. The check-in experience set the tone for the whole holiday — friendly, professional, and full of thoughtful touches. Olga at reception, in particular, deserves special mention. She welcomed us with a genuine smile, guided us to the suites area, and even brought out complimentary drinks and snacks while we completed the check-in process. It instantly felt like we had arrived somewhere special. Olga then personally escorted us to our suite, taking the time to show us around and explain everything the room had to offer. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite with a private pool, and I have to say without hesitation that it is worth the upgrade. The suite was incredibly spacious, consisting of two bathrooms, a comfortable living area with two twin beds, and a main bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The private pool was larger than expected and came with four sunbeds, making it perfect for relaxing in total privacy. One of the greatest perks of staying in a suite is the access to the exclusive infinity pool. This pool overlooks the sparkling Aegean Sea and offers one of the most beautiful views I have ever enjoyed while swimming. In addition, the hotel has two other main pools, both a very good size and never overcrowded. Dining at Kassandra Bay was another highlight of our stay. Guests staying in suites benefit from a dedicated breakfast area, which felt calm and relaxed compared to the main buffet area. Staff would come straight over to ask if we preferred tea or coffee, which was a lovely, personal touch. The breakfast selection was outstanding — fresh juices, an array of pastries, yoghurts, fruit, hot breakfast items, and even a live omelette station. For lunch, the Pelagos Restaurant served excellent dishes that were both fresh and tasty, while the snack bar was ideal for something lighter during the day, offering a good range of snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. In the evening, we enjoyed meals at Black Olive and another on-site restaurant (whose name unfortunately escapes me), both of which provided a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. The private beach belonging to the hotel is another major advantage. The sand is soft, the sea is clear, and the hotel provides complimentary sunbeds, which made every beach day easy and relaxing. The only very minor downside was that the button system to order drinks directly to your sunbed didn’t seem to work properly during our stay. It was a small inconvenience in an otherwise flawless experience. Getting around Skiathos from the hotel was effortless. There is a water taxi service that runs roughly every hour, taking you straight into Skiathos Town or Koukounaries for just €4. Alternatively, the island bus system is fantastic, with very frequent buses running in both directions for only €2–3. This made exploring the island so simple and stress-free. Overall, I can honestly say Kassandra Bay is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the attentive service and luxurious suite to the incredible pools, delicious food, and convenient location, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the little details make a huge difference. We returned home feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already excited to plan our next stay. Without a doubt, I will be returning to Kassandra Bay next year — it has truly captured my heart as the perfect Skiathos getaway.

You have an amazing hotel but I truly think it is badly managed. Breakfast very good. Reataurants very nice and good plates. What I found below average considering you are a 5 star hotel is the very bad cleanliness. My toilet was never cleaner in 1 week, same stains remained all time. Corridors were full of birds excrements and were cleaned only because i asked for it . Toilet below pool level was so dirty that it looked like a public one. If I spend 400 euros a night I expect a degree of order and cleanliness which are far from what I saw. The curtains in the room let a lot of light come through in early morning. There is a space in between them which is very disturbing. I don't recommend this hotel until someone takes care of the many issues you have.

The hotel was of a high standard, and the same goes for the staff. The service was top class. We’ll be back in The future :-)

We were lucky to stay in a suite with our own pool. Everything was perfect, the suite was very spaceful & the bed was huge ! Very quiet, just the hum of the excellent air con units. The maid came in daily, new bedding & fresh towels. Now the staff....you all deserve a medal ! Outstanding in every department, in the bars,restaurants you went out of your way to make sure everyone was being looked after. Definitely 5 star service. We ate every night either in the Black Olive or the Mesoyios Restaurant. Every meal was beautifully cooked to a high standard, wow, that fillet steak was incredible ! Large portions didn't leave room for dessert though ! All the pools were clean & always a sunbed available. The beach was heaven with that breeze & ive never swam in the sea so much ! Just push the button on your parasol & order your food & drink within minutes, bought to your sunbed ! Now for the ferry taxi ! The jetty wobbles, more when the waves are bigger, just close your eyes & jump on board , im still laughing now ! Overall an amazing week here & we would definitely return. I do not know where to start here , we booked for 10 nights with jet 2 with a private transfer , we had to wait 20 minutes for that but the wait was worth it. Upon arrival Checked in seamlessly escorted to our rooms with a hand with luggage . We had a maisonette so double bed upstairs with a smaller bathroom and twin beds down stairs with a large bathroom , safe and fridge in the room along with aircon. Travelling with an active 7 year old boy and a 9 year old girl the steps in the room upto the second floor were a bit nerve racking at times , you know what boys can be like ! A room on the 3rd floor Fantastic view of the sea during the day and a cool welcoming breeze in the evening. The hotel is made up of several areas including an adults only are with their own pool , two other pools with a great selection of all day snacks available along with areas for formal dining. There is also direct access to to the beach again with ample beds. The food was great , a lovely selection of hot and cold dishes for breakfast and an omelette station with ample seating . Lunch we had several times by the pool and also in perfolas bar overlooking the sea. The pools were overseen by a very active and friendly lifeguard the right amount of freedom for the kids and authority to keep things calm. The entire staff are very friendly and work hard and diligently from housekeeping to the kitchen . The F and B manager runs a a great team but I have to give a special mention to Kelly , Dimitri and Athena who really stood out to us in their hard work and attention. This hotel is perfectly located for a bus , the main route of transport right outside the door ,and goes either to town or to koukanaris with lots of stops in between for anywhere between 2&3 euros The water taxi is 4 euro to town and much more fun. We have enjoyed this holiday and hotel so much we have already rebooked :-) Hope to see some familiar faces upon our return , Yamas and efkaristo
