Kassandra Bay Resort

Convenient location near town. Upscale feel with fantastic staff. Rooms were clean and resort is very well kept. Water taxis service, boating and water activities next to a fantastic beach. Multiple pools and resort food choices.

We stayed at Kassandra Bay hotel in July . We were really impressed with the hotel and all the facilities. The room was clean and modern with a powerful shower. The bars, restaurants were all lovely and the food was delicious! We loved the fact that the pools were warm and the hotel is right on the beach with sunbeds at no extra cost and a bell to call a waiter if you wanted to order food or drinks. We loved sitting on the bar stools which had a view of the sea. The water taxi was great but in the evening it was only €10-12 for a taxi from Reception into Skiathos Town. We chose this hotel as it was close to the town but not too small. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it and can’t wait to return!

We had a great stay here and whilst I wouldn’t say it was quite 5 star, it is definitely really nice and we would return. The good: We were on the 5th level, our room was spacious and well equipped. All staff were friendly, the 2 pools are lovely and we didn’t struggle to get a sunlounger. The staff will serve you food and drinks around the pool and everything we had was very nice. There are good options at breakfast other than the coffee which is from a machine that you serve yourself (you can ask the staff for a coffee but they just use the same machine). Bus stop 8 is right outside and has frequent buses to the town which was handy, the water taxi also collects from the beach where the hotel is which was fun for one evening although the times aren’t as regular as the bus. The hotel is on the beach with its own loungers and was really nice to spend a few afternoons down there. We also ate in the olive restaurant once and the food was really nice with a lovely view from the table. The not quite as good: The coffee at breakfast was bad. You can only use the gym after 9 which meant I didn’t go as I like to go before breakfast. You also have to get a card from reception to enter the gym, then give it back which just feels like a faff. The keycard entry for our room was frustrating and on average took 12 attempts before finally letting us into the room. Our shower leaked and flooded the bathroom each time we used it, and the aircon unit leaked randomly on one day too. The cleaners did an ok job with the exception of not sweeping up the hair from the floor however my biggest grumble was that they ignore the do not disturb sign and did so on multiple occasions. One of them I was having a nap and not only did they come in the room, but then didn’t leave when they saw me, and proceeded to hand me towels, and ask me to go and get the used ones. They then also didn’t come back to clean the room once I’d gone. They also give out pool towel cards so you can only have one towel, and have to remember to bring it down with you in order to get a towel. I think a 5 star should probably have pool towels readily available for guests. None of these were major issues, but it just didn’t feel like a true luxury resort, but still a very nice experience.

Amazing hotel with superb service from everyone! I’ve stayed at great hotels all over the world,and have never experienced such a genuine happy,friendly attitude and atmosphere.

Enjoyed our holiday from the moment we stepped into the hotel. The hotel is in my view in a perfect position on the island so easy to get about via the excellent choice of transport,bus (never waited more than 10mins) can get bizzy at peak times, taxi easy to get reasonably priced and the water taxi from the jetty. As for the hotel, pristinely clean with the army of staff, bars well staffed with great service, on B&B found the food on offer very good always plentiful. The staff from front of house to the beach very very good smiling curtious and informative. Room 607 on the 6 level what a view. Would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a Good 5 star hotel on Skiathos
