Katerina Palace Hotel

Checkin was fast. Quite the walk to the room up flights of stairs with pram & suitcases. Room was not the room we booked. It was clean and big with everything you would need but no where near as modern as the pictures. Had to pay a crisis tax which was 70 euros, this is the most I have ever had to pay. This is due to it being a 4 star hotel.. it’s definitely not 4 star. The pool area is nice but the pool is warm so not very refreshing. Bar staff are friendly enough. Breakfast is not the best and we’re not fussy. On the last day I went to buy an ice cream but they didn’t have the one I wanted so went to the shop, half eaten ice cream when I got back and got accused of pinching it so I said no Iv been to the shop. He sternly said that’s not allowed due to tax reasons?? Ridiculous spent a fortune in the pool bar all week and they didn’t have the ice cream I wanted!! Haha so hide anything you bring from the shop. We booked a taxi for 8 people from reception to go to a restaurant a 4 min drive away, it was 35 euros?? Outrageous. Turtle trip from hotel 45 euros. Peters tours which is a 20second walk from the hotel 27 euros for exactly the same trip. Walls are paper thin, people pushing chairs etc around from 7am. We weren’t getting picked up till 6pm. No courtesy room and couldn’t keep any of our rooms on. Hotel is in a good location with the strip being 20seconds walk away & the transfer is very quick. Argassi is lovely so would return maybe not to this hotel.

Our family stayed here the last week of May. Its a beautiful hotel, very clean and spacious rooms. Very comfy beds, has A/C, fridge and safe all included, so no extra costs. Good size balcony. Rooms were cleaned every 2nd day. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice, Outside was extremely clean and beautiful relaxing pools. Pool bar well stocked and fabulous food. Right in the middle with very short walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Close to airport. Most importantly is the people. Outside the hotel everyone is very friendly. The hotel staff we could not fault at all. All so friendly, very helpful, they take time to chat with you and make you feel so welcomed. Have to mention the bar staff, Nikolas, Chis and did not catch the 3 man's name. You could not meet nicer people. Even had a lovely chat with the owner. I would highly recommend this hotel. We look forward to going back there again.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Very very clean. Beautiful pools and grounds. All staff were just lovely and friendly, they went above and beyond. Absolutely perfect location for everything. I mean everything! I have absolutely no bad points at all. I will definitely be booking to go again.

We got a last minute bargain to here and can honestly say it was amazing. The young lads behind the bar were great, Chris and Nick and the other one we didnt manage to get his name. Room was basic but clean and had everything we needed for the stay. Pool and drinks were good, We would definitely book to come back here again.
