We are currently at the end of 7 nights stay at the Kaya Belek hotel and have had a great holiday. We'd previously stayed at the hotel in 2013 and after seeing a number of mixed reviews recently, I was concerned I'd made a mistake in booking again. Thankfully, everything has been fantastic. Yes the hotel is showing signs of age but nothing that detracts from the holiday. The main asset for this hotel is the outdoor swimming pools. There are an abundance of sunbeds and sunshades and unlike in some resorts, there is no pressure to rush out in the morning and secure somewhere to sit. The drinks service around the pool is also excellent. The daytime entertainment team were very friendly and offered a good mix of activities. We've also been really impressed by the evening entertainment, especially last nights interactive garden games which were fantastic. The buffet dining offers a good range of food options, my only criticism is that it can be quite chaotic in there, so not the most relaxing of experiences. The only other thing we noticed as Brits is that sadly many other visitors lack basic manners and will just barge you out of the way whilst waiting for your turn to get a drink or choose some food which is frustrating at times. One thing i do think would be of benefit is for guests to receive some kind of hotel information leaflet giving a bit more detail on what is on offer on site in terms of meals and drinks. All in all, a lovely holiday.
